Skill items. You can equip it to the characters to stop them from switching (I think this is only for CPU I don’t remember sorry). Also you can go in the same menu where you set the map, in rules you can set it to ban switching. If you wanna force switching mid battle, then use the effect “force switch”
Use effect “ban transformation” or in the menus where you select the map just do ban transformation there. Or you can use the item the bans transformatikn on a specific character
