@@WayStedYouthey’re not untrained you fool or else they wouldn’t be out on duty has your dog if you have one ever mistakenly bit you by accident? Shit happens training has zero to do with that
Theory: the cop that got nommed volunteers to be the tackling dummy in the bite suit? "I know that smell, I get treats for making that smell fall down and scream" is very valid dog logic. Also, Florida Highway Patrol really is Florida men with badges and guns. If it didn't get a little supertrooper I'd be surprised.
I've been the guy in the carpet suit when I was Air Force Security Forces. We call it "catching the dog." And oh yeah, those dogs absolutely remember that you're their favorite chew toy. Lucky for me dogs really freaking like me, so no out of carpet suit bites. But when I came around most of our patrol dogs would get really keyed in and/or happy.
I also thought he's done bitework. He was calm and caught him with the arm like he's done it before. Sadly no bite suit. I hope his arm is ok. I know another cop who had to retire when he got bit during Swat training.
Hey Donut. Just a quick little story. The dog I was assigned to. Was an ex-sentry dog. That had been retrained and classified as a Patrol Dog. Basically, a patrol dog worked off commands. And could be called off an attack. Where a Sentry Dog. Was bite anybody anytime. That may include you. 2:32 And you may have to physically “choke” him until he released. Thank goodness he didn't forget very often.
Another commenter had a theory that the cop in question might volunteer to wear the bite suit when the department does K9 training, meaning the dogs would associate his smell with being rewarded for biting him.

Maybe it was just new and needed some more training . It was a great Reaction - you had me rolling! 😂
Not all police dogs are created equal. There's a lot of shady companies out there selling "trained dogs" that cost our cities millions because they end up biting old ladies or the first kid they come across when they're loosed. There's no standard, and someone needs to speak up and break the blue wall of silence on these garbage breeders/trainers. Most of them don't get outed because they're "ex-military" (which no real vet says, they'd use the MOC or afcc, or army code whatever for k9 handler, or ex cop)
I think the dog never had target lock on the suspect and was told to bite - so he elected to bite the closest target, which is exactly what the dog was told to do. As far as the second deployment, that was not great at all.
I would have thought those dogs were trained to recognize uniformed officers as non threatening, I guess not. Or maybe this one was just having a bad day and got caught up the madness??
You mean "Meat Seeker"! I wonder if the bit cop was the guy in the protective suit during the dog's training....... hence the dog going for him. Once again more training needed under Properly Certified People!

Not sure if you do a whole lot of updates but I seen that Houston police Sargent who was ambushed and shot 14 times and still filled in the bad guy. I see a video on him in a restaurant and a man was giving a speech for him and they raised 80k for the man. Thought you guys might wanna hear that he’s doing as well as someone being shot 14 times and being able to move all on his own.
I'm surprised they were able to raise money, must've been a local thing; I know GoFundMe and a few other "charity" based sites would've shut down the charity, as they do pretty much all the time for injured police officers. Regardless, I'm glad to hear he is doing ok.

@@WayStedYouthey’re not untrained you fool or else they wouldn’t be out on duty has your dog if you have one ever mistakenly bit you by accident? Shit happens training has zero to do with that
@@WayStedYou not necessarily. the first one attacked a criminal. The second one didn’t do what he was told.
Definitely seems possible
I've been the guy in the carpet suit when I was Air Force Security Forces. We call it "catching the dog."
And oh yeah, those dogs absolutely remember that you're their favorite chew toy. Lucky for me dogs really freaking like me, so no out of carpet suit bites. But when I came around most of our patrol dogs would get really keyed in and/or happy.
Dog may have been thinking "They call cops 'Pigs'. Pigs = bacon. Bacon? BACONnnn!".
I also thought he's done bitework. He was calm and caught him with the arm like he's done it before. Sadly no bite suit. I hope his arm is ok.
I know another cop who had to retire when he got bit during Swat training.
That fur musket remembered the cop eating in front of him and not sharing.
That officer obviously didn’t want to hurt the K9 so he just stood there like “oh fuck” lol
The well trained k9 walking up in the background, is thinking, "It's k9s like you that make us all look bad!"
9:27 This sounds like Marv getting shocked in Home Alone 2 😂
The civilian being a better blocker by complete accident than the cops who are actively trying to block the car is priceless
Wasn’t going to vote for Mr. Herrera, but after hearing such an inspiring quote; I’m a believer.

Another commenter had a theory that the cop in question might volunteer to wear the bite suit when the department does K9 training, meaning the dogs would associate his smell with being rewarded for biting him.
@@theKashConnoisseur So did I in a different post....

OMG! I'm a cop and that was freaking hilarious! A comedy of errors! 😂😂😂 Hope the cop that got bit was ok. Those K9s ain"t no joke when they bite. Saw a dude scream like a five year old girl one time when a K9 drug him out from under a trailer. The dog in the video definitely had some issues.
I'd imagine thats gonna need stitches 🙁🙁
I think some of those officers need training too 😂😂
I think the dog never had target lock on the suspect and was told to bite - so he elected to bite the closest target, which is exactly what the dog was told to do.
As far as the second deployment, that was not great at all.
I would have thought those dogs were trained to recognize uniformed officers as non threatening, I guess not. Or maybe this one was just having a bad day and got caught up the madness??
“Sounds like a toddler who just saw a ghost and stepped on a lego at the same time” 😂😂😂

Once again more training needed under Properly Certified People!
This was probably the opus video for me... a genuine masterpiece... you can't write comedy this good! And your reactions were hilarious and awesome... This is truly one of your greatest hits...
I look forward to the day they actually start holding judges accountable for repeat offenders and what ever crime the commit subsequent to their unlawful release.
The trick is matching the DA and judges up with the cases and criminals. The press is supposed to do that for us , BUT NO. That would be expecting the press to inform the public.
That is some Blues Brothers level antics.

7:51 WHEW LAD. For anyone that's never seen what happens when an 80,000lb truck traveling at 80mph hits a human bouncy toy, it can best be described as a pink-red mist of flesh and giblets. It's about 17 million ft lbs of energy hitting the body. For reference, a .50 BMG out of an M2 is about 12,000 ft lbs.

Thank you. You're update warms my heart.
I'm surprised they were able to raise money, must've been a local thing; I know GoFundMe and a few other "charity" based sites would've shut down the charity, as they do pretty much all the time for injured police officers. Regardless, I'm glad to hear he is doing ok.
