This song is so deep and significant, because most songs are about getting hurt, but this song is about someone who hurts the other person because they can't give them their 100%. I am sure the lyrics resonate with everyone else just like it does with me. There is a lot of helplessness, and regret in this song...they are actually pleading with the other person to please "let me go". Because sometimes in life, we are the ones who hurt the ones we love, not the one getting hurt. And it is just as painful if not more. We just gotta hope that whoever those people we take for granted and hurt in our lives know what's good for them and leave... let us go.

I wouldn't say so for the bass and the harmonies. There is no any particular bass line that wow me it's really basic and the harmonies are mostly just an octave and the same melody with different voices. The synth, on the other hand, has a very distinctive and wonderful sound. It would grab anyone's attention. And her vocals are also really good.
