i would say the problem is the hdmi chip. if there was jumpered filters can be because it has a shock and the chip now can be bad.

PS3 2000 model has a green light that keeps on and no reset signal when turned on. What's the problem? I'm from China
First of all check in it that after turning it on hard disk orange light stays on for a while and if it stays on then the problem is with the GPU chip and if it doesn't stay on at all then it The Nor data can be corrupted, maybe someone has NOR swapped into it from another console.

You will need a hardware flasher first to bypass the rsod then by installing rsod fix PKG

Try a different cable with shorter length and better quality
I have the same cable as you are using and it causes problems i fixed it by changing of the cable

Brother I need your help😢, my ps3 turns on then off after like 3-5 seconds, the red light isn’t on when it turns off but after clicking the power button once the red light appears again.(I don’t have to unplug it first.) is there any fix or is my ps3 done for? thanks in advance.
