Damn. That was the first season since the Urban-era that UF had a great run game and pass game together in sync. Of course, the Urban teams had far more talent and consistency and scored far more, but this 2012 team was UF’s latest chance to win a title. They won this game ranked #2...If only they’d beaten UGA. Maybe they could have won vs. Bama and beaten ND in the title. I wish...This team coukd have 5 rings, the other being if Cam Newton never got kicked out. And if Urban never left UF, he could have won them 2 more rings aside from this potential 2012 season...Damn... this team could have like 6 rings rn.

That season was a contrast compared to the Urban Meyer days. This Gators team had an 11-1 regular season record with a power running game and dominant defense. Jeff Driskel didn’t have to do much in regards to throwing the ball. He just had to manage the game and not make mistakes, although his running capability gave a Florida an extra threat running along with Mike Gillislee and Matt Jones.
44-11 sounds like a SEC beat down.
Georgia was the only game we lost that year we could have been sec champs and possible national

Florida has had a couple great teams since the Tebow era. This 2012 team, that was robbed from playing in the NC game against Alabama. Florida had the #1 SOS that year. ND had a SOS in the 30's. Most likely politics in not wanting back to back years of SEC NC games, led to the laughable snub. Remember in 2011 Alabama vs LSU, is what most likely led to Florida being left out. The 2015 Florida team arguably was the best team in the country with Will Grier as QB. They never lost with him in 6 games. He was replaced by the absolute shit show known as Treon Harris. They won on defense against average and mediocre teams, until the inevitable reality came against a quality team. And Harris was exposed against FSU and the next two games against Alabama and Michigan.

Sure Florida did not look pretty but they got 44 points which was enough by 33. What's the point you are trying to make? It's just one game. Florida rushed for 130+ yards vs LSU? They had 140+over Florida State? So where are you trying to get at? SC held Florida to like 88 yards rushing I think, but UF stil trashed them. That's that, so I don't understand you. Is it that you hate UF so much you secretly envy them?
