Nice one Alex, The table setup looks superb, visually and thematically (even by SoS standards). 2 thoughts occur. Firstly, over previous scepticism, I am starting to seriously consider using IABSM for mid-level campaign games. It would bridge between Ogroup & CoC, & I already have enough figures. Secondly, gotta get me some of those latex cobbles.
Cheers buddy, I am glad you enjoyed the video. IABSM is a perfect filler for the level between CoC and OG, but don't expect the bells and whistles of those two games though. IABSM is a solid game, but is obviously an older Lardy game.
Yep, an entertaining game, as always. The breakdown rule for tanks gives it an authentic (ie frustrating) feel. There's no HMG jamming rule though? Or leader wounds? As in the 'Through the Mud' rules. Is it intended for larger forces?
Cheers Duncan, glad you enjoyed the video. I don't recall any MG jamming rules, but they'd be easy to add, ie, more 1s than 6s, for example. Big men do get hit, I probably just forgot to roll for it.
