My dad would take me to all the Patriots games back in the 70s. He is from Boston. All that did was make me a Dolphins fan. In elementary school after the pledge of allegiance we would all sing the dolphins fight song then start school. In the third grade was when they hired Shula. In the sixth grade we were winning Super Bowls
Love it, great story. I’m younger, 37. So I have no such glory days as a Dolphin fan, but when I was in high school I lived through that amazing hurricane run. I frequented the Orange bowl and my greatest sport memories were all there. I later worked on the new marlins ballpark construction project after the Orange bowl was knocked down. The Orange bowl represented that old hard knock Miami football to me. Very soft and glitzy lately.

Don't think there's any hope for this team until they completely rebuild to offense line and then the rest of the team to play smash mouth football. That means you can't have any injury prone players, including the quarterback.
I’ve been really checked out for a while maybe 20 years because we need to get back to run first then burn the defense with play action but we don’t have a couch that can get them back to the glory days. I love your channel. The more time the defense is off the field the better they will be not being out there 30 plus min.
After seeing him play significant snaps, I still don't understand why the starting offensive line wasn't (to start the season): Armstead, Paul, Brewer, Jones/Wynn, Jackson. And yes, Paul is over-sized for a guard but Tunsil did it and played well and he DEFINITELY would have played at a higher level than Liam (who was also a tackle in college). It is like the coaching staff doesn't try to squeeze all the potential out of their roster.
Fun fact. The last time the dolphins offensive line ranked top 10. We had guy named Jake long. Who we ended up selling to St. Louis for a bag a chip and a soda.

Players can reveal injuries. Coaches cannot. Media cannot talk to coaches when injured. We've known about Liam's shoulder since early in the season, he's been wearing a brace. Liam is playing two positions. Not making an excuse, just a fact. He is always covering the chaos on the RT side and never focused on what is front of him. The center is on an island. Always.

The fact that Wynn hasn’t replaced Eichenburg is simply mind boggling to me. Eichenburg looks like he’s playing on roller skates. He has no anchor whatsoever. He’s constantly getting pushed back or simply thrown away by the DT. He’s easily the worst OL on the Dolphins. Merry Christmas Doug!
This is a game McDaniel NEEEEEEDS to win. This is where, if he is a good coach, this team will win by a large margin and look like a real team. You're right about the receivers being the same. We don't have a matchup misalignment it doesn't matter who lines up. The defense has a package to cover them. I understand that Hill is fast with a 40 yard at 4.2 no pads but DBs are running the same 40 at 4.4 and better so speed isn't as much of a factor.

His playcalling is atrocious, he cant make in game adjustments and tua is mediocre people can't really see who he really is. A qb who can't beat playoff teams, only wins against sorry teams, always comes up short when it matters, a weak arm qb who keeps under throwing tyreek , cant run , cant read past his first option and a injury prone. Tua is mediocre period.

With Blake Ferguson it sounds like a drug or alcohol problem. Possibly needed rehab and is getting better. I’m not 100% but there’s only a few things that would be “illegal” to speak about in regards to him not playing and dealing with rehab due to drugs/alcohol would be against HIPPA so that’s all I can think of.

I just can't get into this team anymore. It is zero fun to watch a team that cannot, absolutely never beat an over .500 team. I've never seen a team this challenged. At the pro level any team should be able to win. Seems like a mental deficiency of McDaniel to me....

If they win the last three games and somehow make the playoffs then Ross will just be like "Well we started bad but still made the play offs so 5 more years Chris!" And even if we dont make the playoffs, he might still give him one more chance if they end with a winning record. I know how this man thinks.

Guys don't get your hopes up against the niners ! Niners still has Purdy and kittle not to mention mcclown hasn't beaten shanahan ever. Purdy will play better against tua. even with all the injuries with the niners don't be surprised tua will come up short like he always does. Yoy have a coach who keeps getting outcoached and doesn't know anything about in-game adjustments. Dolphins need an overhaul by getting rid off grier Mcdaniels and tua. Tua will never ever succeed against playoff teams. Put all those three pieces together ( grier , mcclown and tua) equals sinking ship. A complete overhaul is a must
DDW we're at a point where I don't think we care anymore hate to say that but our season is in the toilet at this point so many disappointments so many levels of this team.....
Id prefer not to make the playoffs. Fire Grier, give the new GM power to decide on McDaniels, and sweeten the pot by giving him or her a top 12 pick in this years draft.
