I don't think Tyson intended to ever fight Riddick Bowe, being as they were somewhat friends from the same "Brownsville" area of Brooklyn New York and listening to Tyson in a couple of his interviews, he didn't seem interested in fighting Bowe.

Bowe was the A side and undisputed to begin with. Holyfield was guaranteed 5 million, Bowe was guaranteed 3mil after PPV sums Holyfield earned 17mil and Bowe earned 5mil for the first fight. Lennox thought 2mil and 3mil with the opportunity to be Undisputed was too much. Should've took that opportunity instead of eventually signing and getting knocked out. Plus making a bunch of excuses for his lose and a belt he didn't even fight for. That's why everyone should respect Uysk because now he is taking whatever from Fury to be Undisputed. Can't say the same for Lennox they had to throw away a belt as an idea to negotiate with him because he wouldn't take any offers and it backfired on both of them.
