He had the perfect personality of a champion. As great as he was, he should have been bigger.

It's crazy to see how articulate and quick witted and likeable Bowe was in 1992.
Now he is like this gibbering slobbering man child...

Seems like you made it your mission to be disrespectful to one of the best heavyweight champs in the history of boxing. Keep in mind this man retired 43-1 on top of his game. Avenged his only loss to Holyfield. Obviously he has brain damage because of all the wars he’s been in but that doesn’t take away from the legend of “Big Daddy” Bowe…. Show some respect to someone who’s accomplished way more than you ever will.

I don't think Tyson intended to ever fight Riddick Bowe, being as they were somewhat friends from the same "Brownsville" area of Brooklyn New York and listening to Tyson in a couple of his interviews, he didn't seem interested in fighting Bowe.

he would have stump Tyson like an ant. Tyson was no match for such a big man with such high level boxing skill, intelligence, and arsenal

@@greenfields1221 In 92 it wasn't even a binding contract it was a written agreement from all four fighters. In 94 it was a binding contract not a rumor. Bowe was the A side and undisputed to begin with. Holyfield was guaranteed 5 million, Bowe was guaranteed 3mil after PPV sums Holyfield earned 17mil and Bowe earned 5mil for the first fight. Lennox thought 2mil and 3mil with the opportunity to be Undisputed was too much. Should've took that opportunity instead of eventually signing and getting knocked out. Plus making a bunch of excuses for his lose and a belt he didn't even fight for. That's why everyone should respect Uysk because now he is taking whatever from Fury to be Undisputed. Can't say the same for Lennox they had to throw away a belt as an idea to negotiate with him because he wouldn't take any offers and it backfired on both of them.
