THANK YOU! For some unknown reason, my iPhone 12 stopped working as expected after 2 ½ years. Your video was the one that finally fixed my phone connectivity issue in my 2021 Rogue after two or more months of doing research on the internet, visiting a local iPhone store, working with iPhone support, etc. All other iPhone worked in my car but mine. My connection via USB was erratic as well as the connection via blue tooth and I was about to give up. I did all the steps recommended by others, but it was not until I reset my radio to the original factory settings and I finally could connect without any issues again! Thank you so much for your help with this video!
Hi. My carplay just stopped playing. Before watching this video, I performed all the troubleshooting you mention. :) My Rogue doesn't even pop use in the CarPlay settings of my iphone. Consequently my phone only plays as Blue Tooth.

You’re a legend. Latest ios ipdate made my carplay in nissan juke stop working. Resetting to default settings in the car (having tried everything else first!) was what did it. Thank you so much xoxoxox
Thank you! It was so easy to follow your directions! A software update on my Rogue caused the Apple Car Play not to work and I was clueless! The dealership who did the update on my car was no help! I did each step and when I turned my phone off and then back on, it engaged Apple Car Play again! Thank you! thank you!
@carsunlocked, I have a Nissan Juke Nismo 1998 Limited Edition model and the nissan dealer said it was exported from Japan. I have been unable to connect Apple Carplay since the app buttonsays to download NissanConnect App and require me to input VIN (Vehicle Registration Number), which I have already did but the NissanConnect App does not recognize. So frustrating that until now I could not use navigation on my car. Greatly appreciated your help to address my years long problem. Thank you in advance bro.
My question is I connect my lighting cord to my frontier and to my apple phone. And I get sometimes static when CarPlay reads my texts or sometime on my music.
After complaining to Nissan and them taking videos of it and sending it to the main Nissan techs. They replaced the whole head unit. No more problems now.
I found out the issue I was having was my chargeable phone case. Sometimes the phone case would connect to Apple CarPlay and sometimes it would not. So that could be an issue people have.
Mine just stop working randomly sometimes and then it works again the next day. Really annoying when I need the GPS to go somewhere. I brought it to the dealership they can’t fix
My problem I have is it will connect, but take a while to start audible or Spotify, and it won’t let me take a call or here Siri at all, and once a call or Siri comes up with no sound, it stops all sound afterwards. No idea why but it started once I downloaded the iOS 17 updates.
@@carsunlocked I have everything unlocked like that unfortunately, it used to work before I updated the phone to ios 17 and on. I've given up on talking with carplay honestly, I just use it for audible, if I need to talk I will unplug it and use handsfree

Any thoughts?

believe you have to enable siri in your phone settings

perhaps they used an older display that didnt have the wireless capability?
Go to your iPhone settings>general>carplay, make sure the car play option is turned on. It will enable wireless careplay
Any ideas for it working but when I go to call or messages, it leaves CarPlay. Calls go to Bluetooth, but messages just disconnects.

you have to reconnect through your bluetooth if your having trouble with that I would do a factory reset on the vehicle information screen
