Digimon TCG | EX6 Meta - Ogudomon, The Seven Great Demon Lords

There's a guy at my locals who's so hype for this deck that he's been playing with proxies for the last 2-3 months, lol. I don't blame him though, I was the same way when Royal Knights got announced.
Which, btw, the matchup between those two is REALLY fun. Creepymon is basically a silver bullet, so it forces RK to strategically place things like omekamon on board just for protection. On the other hand, Alphamon completely shuts down ogudamon before it even gets played. It's really a matter of who has the right pieces and at what time. Can't wait to officially see this deck at locals a few weeks from now. 😇

@@DIGI-PANDA Pretty much, lol! The two decks make for some pretty weird board states too. Like, you can counter a good counter, but you can't always tell if doing so will help or heart yourself. Very tense but extremely engaging games.

@@3dbyjoe546 Not sure, but I doubt it. We often just build decks and research ourselves. If anything, he might've looked at a list elsewhere as a starting point and edited things to his liking afterwards.

for the 5th egg most build plays Mother Reaper, if after the egg shuffle you hatch first K.Drasil is game over, but Mother Reaper can go in battle area so you can still "gating"

You can still apply Gate's cost reduction and even go further on the cost reduction. BUT you miss out on Ogudomon and can't digivolve.

This is the deck I am most excited about from any of the last three sets. BT13 Belphemon Rage mode is worth mentioning as it helps control wider boards, since you can sequence its Start of Mains before the Gates. It's also worth mentioning that you can delete the Gate without playing Oguda so you can attack with the Demon Lords you played the previous turn.

For combat against blockers porcupumon is great, it can delete 2 floodgates 1 on summon and other on deletion at the next turn

when barbamon declares the attack, I blast evolution with ophanimon.
so the moment barbamon sees her, he will hear: I am lady bagabuga.
so slashangelmon will say what a well defined body for ophanimon

Demons will unfortunately be knocked down until the slime is dealt with as a slime player it needs to be but yellow vaccine would lasso need to be dealt with in some capacity so it doesn’t over take

Nah it's still Tier 1.5; then maybe drops to T2 in BT17 before going up to T1 in EX07 due to Shoto abuse.

@@raikaria3090 idk about that numemon can just easily out pace it along with mirage yellow vaccine and other things like imperial I just can’t see it doing well with how the format has shaped atm

@@samuelcline4854 A T1 deck still can have losing matchups. But in the current EX07 meta; 7DL is a Tier 1 deck.

@@jasonandrews1770 No? Results from EX07 have multiple Tier 1 decks; all with the same amount of event wins. 7DL is one of them.
If you tie for the most wins; you're Tier 1. The top is tier 1; and 7DL was at the top once the Shoto list got refined. The only thing above is tier 0; which is only a thing when a single deck is absolutely destroying the meta.

This has nothing to do with the deck, but my two favorite Demon Lords are Belphemon and Lilithmon while my boyfriend's are Beelzemon and Lilithmon. I just think it's fun that we share Lilithmon while swinging out in different ways with the other pick.

Highly recommend 4 ex6 chaos mode, you can loop him and ex6 luce multiple times a game usually. He's probably the best ex6 demon lord overall.
I also highly recommend 2-3 Digimon emperor. This deck gets demolished by numemon and other fast rush style decks that dont care about bodies dying to security.

Definitely! There've been quite a number of discussion points that I'm going to definitely incorporate into the deck! Lucemon probably at 4 - maybe 5 at this point. Some others might drop to 1 of's.

Quite a few options, just not as powerful.
1. EX6-047 Boogiemon on play can reveal the top 3 and add 1 card with the Demon Lord trait and 1 purple option. Which gives you a wider search capability and then let's you trash a card.
2. BT15-073 Bakemon is another option that on deletion you draw 1 and trash 1 card in hand.
Porcupa is definitely another viable option!
