umm, it didn't really happen like that at all... the werhmacht was told to hold position and allow the luftwaffe to pick the army off on the beach. although the town was razed to the ground the german army never actually attacked until AFTER the british troops were gone.
The French and certain British units did in fact hold the perimeter, though slightly further out than the main town
Marauder623 where did you get that from?? The Germans’ supply was stretched too thinly and they had to stop to refuel and rearm. Not even the Germans expected the brute speed and aggression of the Blitzkrieg.

Is there any way Rob can implement a moral system if a squad takes over 70% casualty they have a chance of breaking and routing from there positions or becoming scared and fire rate is reduced because theyve just watched all their teammates get slaughtered they get pinned and are reluctant to fire. If it is a elite unit maybe 95% and conscripts or volunteer units 60%

Fun fact: the brits did close to nothing in the ground defence of the beach of Dunkirk. The lines were held by french troops.
Olivier Crilo there were British rear guards. But because France didn't have a navy in France at the time, they agreed the British should get out of Europe on British boats first. Then the French would be brought to England. The French didn't have to, they did have a navy and a quite big one. But because a German patrol accidentally pulled up outside the port, the sunk the entire fleet. The last fleet the had was in Algiers, but came under German control. So the British went and sunk most of the last French fleet. The French did take back what remained if their last fleet. Only to late to evacuate French troops form France.

One member of my familly fight at Dunkrik he did wrote that he saw more English than French soldier in Dunkrik but no one of them was holding German , when he try to give a injured soldier into the boat they refuse because : " English first and French after " that men paased away in the hand of his friend trying to do something .
He got shot two times same for him , he had to wait and when he got the chance he passed away in the boat .

British didn't defend they run away while the French propect them . English didn't even let the french injured soldier go in the boat , same for every french soldier ...

The English troops didn't defend anything. 40,000 French led a fierce resistance against 160,000 Germans to protect the perimeter and allow the British to evacuate. They sacrificed themselves.

That is the most ignorant statement I've ever seen. Do you know how many French forces were evacuated that day? The French held the line for *all of the allied forces*. Not just because the "British didn't want french to escape France".. Do you understand the idiocy of that statement? Where did you get that from? Think before you talk shit.
A lot of French evaced, but barely any Brits held the line, for French defended further away, than were in the town or beach, Historically no flanks broke in Dunkirk until the Brits were gone, the rest of the defending French and Belgians outside the town either surrendered or ran out of ammo and Bayonet charged the Germans.
So both arguments are correct in dome ways.
It's important to remember that this is France. Some French (and others) seem to think its some sort of special thing that French soldiers defended the evacuation, well, no. Not at all, its perfectly normal for French soldiers to defend their country from attack, that's exactly what they should be doing and is kind of their job description. They actually did a rather bad job of it too.
I have come across the French actually resenting the British for retreating, like we should have held our ground, died and habeen captured due to their defenses crumbling and bad leadership. No. The evacuation allowed the allies to retreat to safety and come back and help liberate the country later on. It was a tactical and the best decision. It all worked out in the end.

My second cousin was the first line of defense and was captured by germans he was the only surviver in his squad but escaped with 3 other men and made his way to Serbia were he was captured by Soviets but escaped again with only one soldier tagging along and took him till after the war to get back to Scotland and then be came a million air but saddle his younger brother died on Sword beach in Normandy France on D-day but if he didn't get captured by the Germans he would of probably died on D-day
