The Reserve Bank of India, RBI is India's central bank also responsible for the regulation of the Indian Banking System. Indian currency, the rupee has had a low value as compared to a dollar for years. Due to inflation and the growing economy the value of a rupee never even came close to a dollar. But this can be changed with the help of a brilliant strategy made by the RBI to replace western Swift system, which favored USA and European Union countries like UK (whose Sterling Pound) ruled the system earlier. India is joining in the race along with China and Russia to create it's own finance system and also has announced international trade in Indian Rupees. Reality is it's really challenging to maintain a trade gap between countries for proper functioning of Vostro accounts.
Currently Russia has lot of INR and they don't know what to do with it. The same may happen with China. Until we become a manufacturing hub it's almost impossible to stabilize this model

First of all, it is a very informative video , I loved it. I think this is a very good move by India to make other countries open Vostro Accounts in India . I would love to see Indian Rupees rise and gain its importance internationally. I hope the Government will implement the system properly and other countries would be able to make smooth transactions.
The rivals of western dominance also has their own strategy to skip SWIFT, that's why INDIA should invite under development countries it would be a good option. It will increase the value of INDIAN RUPEE among them and so among other countries later.

Definitely it makes sense to ask weaker nations to open Vostro account in India as such a step will provide volume to Rupee based trade and also pave the way for international reliability of Rupee as a stable currency. Bringing Russia in to the loop has already happened as now both countries are skipping dollar while trading through Vostro/Nistro account i.e. trading of Russian oil/ Indian FMCG products.

Reality - 1 dollar = 80 rupees. Our economy has gone backwards in past few years be a deshbhakt not a andhbhakt.
But it may also takes away the employment in local and scale scale business. Because it won't take for foreign companies to dominate the Indian market and also there would be a unfair competition between this companies and local businesses.
And don't forgot about the Chinese companies because we have to reduce tax less than 1% for all companies. And you to know how badly people hate less quality Chinese products.

India should start taking advantage of having sea access from 3 sides (South side is defence), and West coastline gives direct access to Africa, whereas East coastline gives direct access to South East Asia. There is really no country better geographically placed than India.
China has already built infrastructure to some degree in Africa, India should take advantage of that. It is 50% cheaper by sea than by rail, and Pakistan's port built by China is too far away from any inhabited part of China. This is a loosing battle for China - another failed project.

We should do direct trade in our own currency with developed countries equally, and while trading directly with small Countries we should give them something like discount or assist them, which will make the small countries something like fan of India nd by continuous support of more nd more small countries we can someday become more influential on the big countries we once used to trade equally with. Anyone will choose Indian currency or transition methods over SWIFT if they get some profits or easy and fast transition. India will be biggest someday for sure.

In my opinion india should target those countries which are developing and underdevelopment so that a word will spread across the that there is a system better then swift and more reliable and after this they should target countries like Russia,china ,and islamic countries which have a large wealth and other usa enemies (jo ki naam ke liya hai) ,so that after india getting support from many small and powerful countries there won't be any short of financial help if U.S make santction on india .
Plus with support of many countries usa also feel pressure and think more than 1 time to start a fight(sanction) with india.

2nd conection with both like country's (as Russian and other countries with trust) bonds.

Exchange rate for both currencies can be referred to price of gold rates instead of dollar.

it might be helpful but 61% country adults or new generation is working on metaverse,ai,crypto,nft,dao etc and source of income and transfers in this field are mostly USD($) so it would be bad for them as their funds will drop by 40% bcz now dollar is 82-83₹ .Its kind of sad for them but its good for the country

I think as India is an underdeveloped country and try it's new system in underdeveloped country first then in devloped countries but first of all India should make strong relationship with maximum underdeveloped countries. India has to reduce the interest rate on foreign exchange of currency and increase the amount of exchange at a time. I think Indian economist and govt calculate all the pros and cons then launch this system.
