Hello ..By creating the first CF like {FIXED Customer Name: Min(order date)} and putting the field into the filter shelf, we can achieve the same result by filtering the most relevant year result...Is that ok
i did not understand in min sales for each month "{fixed datetrunc('month',order date): sum(sales)}" why datetrunc used here it will give us first date of months and because of it, it will take only first date of month sale rights or not? please explain
{ FIXED [Customer Name]:MIN([Order Date])} , then Put CountD in the column - . Make it discrete , Put the calculated Field New customer or Old in the Text Shelf /Filter .
Rahul bhai... month on month customer status New customer: done sales in current month not in previous month. Existing customers: done sales in current month & previous month also Lost customers : done sales in previous month but not in current month..
Interesting Question Ravi. First thing is when you are bringing in from 2 data sources you should have atleast one column. N when you are trying to write LOD on top of that i think you need to get all of them from single datasource otherwise it might not work. I hope this helps you.
Hi Mathav, Will we know that he purchased in every year? I think as per ur calculation it will only give total orderss he placed. Example if a customer has 4 orders in single year and no orders there after then ur calculation will return 4. But we r trying to find customers who placed order in every year like that

After finding the New Customer, just create a CF with Count function as count (New or Old) and then use grand total from analysis tab.

I understand LODs but now I want to know when is the right time to use an LOD? And why?
Hi, You want to work independently without getting impacted with what is in view.
Rahul bhai... month on month customer status
New customer: done sales in current month not in previous month.
Existing customers: done sales in current month & previous month also
Lost customers : done sales in previous month but not in current month..
Let me try this sounds interesting 😃
Ok
does video on this created?
If we have dimensions from Excel file and measures from SQL server, can we use LOD's on such data and if yes how? Can you plz help with this?

Pls provide me the logic for the above question on urgent basis rahul bhai..
Why we wrote '[Customer Name]' after "Include" ?
To consider him
Use index l, convert index to discreet to get count of new customer
Is this type of questions are asked in freshers interview.
Some of them could be asked. But concept wise you need to be aware how this can be achieved.
Video on all date function
Sure Divya am noting it down. Wil post after filters topic 🤝🤝🤝 thanks for reaching out ☺️
[Fixed[customer]:(min[order date])]
What version is this
{ FIXED [Customer Name]: MIN([Order Date]) }
Super Shafi 👌👌👌👌
new customer unique count 11
21
Customers who orderd for each year 800?
11 new customers.
Wow kirak ek dum 👌👌👌👌👌
Customer purchased in every year you can simply wtite like
{Fixed customer name : countd(year(ordereate)) }

@@TechiRahul Bro... Now I've corrected the calculation... It will work now...
Yes I think it will work now 🙂🤝 good try year(order date) was important 😀
{ FIXED [Customer Name]: MIN([Order Date]) }
Nice
