Was it a crash, or did they put it down, using common sense in the weather? That is not clear from reports. This sounds like an unconsidered mission, from north of Las Vegas to San Diego, with all of the weather warnings. Was it just a transfer of troops? That couldn't wait a day? They are put into enough danger in combat zones. Why risk lives of trained military in Southern California during horrendous weather?

How many pilots fly this huge helicopter. Pilot error. Heck no way. You go put any pilot in pitch dark over mountains in a terrible storm. See how many come out. This is why weather advisory. warnings. They should have been diverted if they had to fly in these conditions so late at night. But not to even monitor by radio or radar. So civilian planes had to find the wreckage. That is unacceptable. . This is not a question of the pilots skill or the helicopters capability. This was a very unsafe call to make and lives were lost because of it.

I hope the rescue teams are considering diversity and equity when picking people to search for the missing Marines. It is really important to the Biden administration that the under represented play a part in the armed services. Will they be providing wheelchair access to some of these search areas? All kidding aside, I hope for good news on the crews safety and recovery. This helicopter flew over my place when it left for Nevada, and I would be out there searching if they were missing here.
It left Nevada for cali
Silliness never rests!!!!
@janetannerevans2320And sometimes it points out the truth. Look around the country - it's a mess.
@@rhondaeverett8284 correct when it went down. But I got to see it fly over when it flew up to Nevada. It is unusual for them to fly over my area, so it called attention to itself.
@janetannerevans2320 Which part of the DEI did I offend in you?
