I am printing line diagram schematics and using the thinest lines. The problem is in print it comes out faded in some areas, as if the pdf is not rendering the thin lines completly. Then if I print it with line weights enables they come out a bit too thick... This is for 24x36 print, do you have any suggestions?

What if the layers stack not on top of eachother? I have checked that I have the same coordinates on every CAD sheet by copying sheets from the master-sheet but somehow the trees for example ends up in different coordinates.

I solved that problem by making a viewport that was 11 x 17 in one tab, then copying that main tab as the "master format" tab and changing the layer state as required for each tab that i wanted to have as a separate layer in PS, and making sure that the layer that the viewport was on was turned on in each of the tabs, and making sure to be in paper space when plotting all tabs. it gives a common area of reference for all tab content. I hope that makes sense.

i did the layers separately and all but it still won't align, i checked the coordinates are same on the Cadsheet as i also coppied from master sheet like you instructed , idk why but even after making layer groups the individual layers wont show when i click on them

Before running the script to import the PDF's, open one of them using the "Open" command. In the "Import PDF" dialog box that appears, be sure set the "Crop To" option to "Media Box" and NOT "Bounding Box" and then click OK. This tells Photoshop to use the paper size and not the area occupied by the objects on each layer (which is different for each set of objects, which is why they don't line up). Once the document opens, you can close it without saving. Now when you run the script, it will use that setting and all of the layers will line up properly. You should only have to do that once on any particular computer and it should remember the setting.

One thing I noticed that wasn't in the tutorial, once your master viewport is created, lock the viewport before you copy. Once you copy the new page layout all the layers will align correctly when importing into Photoshop.

What on earth? There is not one thing wrong with his English. He's perfectly articulate and doesn't even have a strong accent.
