If the Rossi quo we’re playing in my garden I wouldn’t be arsed to look out the window but I would have traveled half way around the world to see the Frantic four.
I guess plenty of famous musicians get to choose who they want to have in their bands when they perform. Clapton , Sting , McCartney . The list is endless. The current Quo are a great unit. Tight and keeping the songs alive through the decades. But they’re pretty much a Quo cover band with Francis at the helm and can’t be compared to the energy brought on stage by the original line up. I’d include Andy Bown in that , although he seemed to get left on the fringe in the shadows. Thanks John. Only 2 of you left now mate 🙏👍🏻
The current band would also be on a wage, rather than the original line-up all on an equal (25% each) of live revenue. So the more Rossi plays with the modern band, the more money he gets

Fantastic Drummer, the backbone and powerhouse of the Quo, LEGEND.
He is a very humble person, and a good wrap up there about his place in the history within the greatest once..

Francis' pride couldn't accept doing any studio Fratic 4 stuff as he knew it would out sell most of the crap he has released since 1987.
Two tours, end of, the guys got a hefty top up to their pension pots, that was enough, Alan was not well at all.
