This was the my first Christian band and it helped me get my mind off television and into my Bible reading. I Thank Flyleaf 1000 times for being original and Christian. Lacey is still cool as Mrs. Strum 😙, keep praising our KING Jesus Christ sis!!!
I was raised Catholic but wasn’t very good at practicing. Once I stopped being an alter boy, I took up the life of the typical high schooler. That meant church went the wayside for a few years. Once I heard my first flyleaf song, it inspired me to attend church again. Whenever my life doesn’t agree with me, I listen to flyleaf. I always feel better & closer to God.
They needed to make her mic louder and clearer. The people at this show missed out on the range of her amazing voice. Her voice got drowned out. Still a great early show. Thanks for posting.
Nah, there’s no way to know what it actually sounded like live through a clipping camcorder mic in 2005. All the frequencies are overdriving the input and garbling together to make a less pleasant sound. You needed pro recording gear to capture a loud live sound at that time. I went to their shows around this era and it sounded spectacular.
I prefer this kind of activity for religious people, so much better than making planes crashing. I'm an agnostic metalhead myself and will never forget the first time I heard Lacey's voice in 2006. Sorry for my joke.
@@FreyaReturnspecially since cell phones couldn’t do it yet. That said, a camcorder couldn’t accurately capture their live sound. It garbles and distorts things at that volume, unfortunately, but I remember how they actually sounded live and it was amazing
Maybe this was before they released their album..... lots of bands do this at the beginning to give a taste to the audience of what to expect, for example, Nirvana, System of a Down, Green Day
I think flyleaf signed on when theyre EP began starting to heat up.then in 06 im so sick became a hit = they began early in 2001 like playing any local places.......some how played at the same tour with hanna montana I heard (I dont know when???)

Gotta love their early shows. They show that raw energy that's so special when they play
Alvaro B I know. I was front row mosh pit for 1.
She still has it :)

Lacey is perfection. This band will always be one of my favorites.

Did they fuck you as an alter boy ? 😂😂😂
This is something to remember
I miss this band
Wow! Awesome to see some old stuff.
I'm not religious myself, but Flyleaf helped me get more into Christianity and understand it more.
I was too busy trying to be an adult in 2005. I wish i would have been able to see them live
JAM my problem was the exact opposite haha. too young :/ I’ve seen her solo a little while back but it’s not the same
Great concert.
never delete this!
She should've been born 10 years earlier. Would be been bigger in 90s. This marked end of 90s music
She sure would have been big in the 90's!
Regardless though, she's bigger than ever right now!
❤️🔥
@@KenosisMetanoia I saw them perform front row at a club about 15 years ago. She was so hot
Es verdad en los 90 está banda 🤔hubiera sido una revelación 😨

Oh Lacey ♥

Sorry for my joke.
AWESOME!!!
Falto I'm so sick, excelente concierto, me encantó!!

Great band and singer.
lacey is awesome she ever was
i wonder who is that one person who clicked on the dislike icon. lols. I still listen to their old songs. :P
Beau Beau it was Donald trump
Joe Smith probably
It was probably an accidental hit to the dislike button ;) Nobody can hate this.
Donald is King of all presidents
@@danielhaines3940Yeah...It was actually Joe Biden who disliked it!
Awesome
How small the crowd first was..... compared to now.......
Right? Its really awesome how someone thought to tape this!

This is amazing! :D
Is Amy Lee your profile pic?!
***** Yes xD She's my favourite
7XenaWarriorPrincess LOVE HER! Haha
***** Me too!
It's old, but it's with Lacey, haha. Pretty great!!
Pure Christ filled energy.
Lacey must have been inspired by Avril Lavigne especially in the earlier years of Flyleaf
Does anyone know what track it is in which Lacy is known for actually laying down and rolling around on the stage?
😂🤣 No but I wish I did
@@KenosisMetanoia I heard people talking about then saw them live once at the Family Values tour, but can't remember the track name
Love this. Gotta say, the rest of the band is having WAY more fun than Lacey. Lol
Her mic is way too low :(
You can’t judge that by this video with an overdriven camcorder mic standing in front of the guitar amps
How is this from 2005? Flyleaf didn't come out till 2006.
Maybe this was before they released their album..... lots of bands do this at the beginning to give a taste to the audience of what to expect, for example, Nirvana, System of a Down, Green Day

Nino Falletta dude they started in 2002
Nino Falletta no it came out in 2005 i just checked :)
Flyleaf existed long before this. There are plenty of bands that were underground before blowing up. And their first album came out in 2005 not 2006.
