Kenny seems like the most wholesome and cool dude. It's his show and he's just chillin on the kit the whole time giving other people their chance to shine.
He really is. Met him at a concert in LA last year and he was so approachable and friendly, talked to my friends and I for the majority of the show. 10/10 guy
dude had the most insanely energetic stage presence I had ever seen when I caught him live. shouting every line without missing a single bar and leaping around the whole time.
This recording is the best version of all three of these songs by miles. So much soul. Remi's voice is something else. I'll be revisiting this video for a long, long time.
I actually think hes holding back tears. You can see him a couple seconds earlier start to well up a little it seems and when the song ends, he talks about almost crying hearing it.
Nick Movshon, he played with Charles Bradley, Lee Fields, Amy Winehouse, the Olympians (great instrumental soul), the Black Keys and many Daptone projects
Kenny is a legitimately good guy and does just as much to help and teach the music community as he does making great music. I don't even make music, but its been a pleasure to learn things from Kenny watching his streams and videos. Thanks Ken, peace
Besides being uber skilled, Kenny might just have one of the best personalities in the industry. Just look how he gathers all of his mates together to make something important to him - I feel like THAT is something aspire to more than any traditional success he might have garnered.
One of the most important people in American music right now from my perspective. His personality plays a huge role in this genuine approach to music, and the traditional success has followed anyways. He's living his dream.
Remi is something else. Whenever i watch a live performance of her i discover a new different thing about her voice. And she makes me feel like she's one of my family. Just like Mac. May his soul rest in peace.
Kenny's great. He's been a part of so many songs I love. I enjoy his in the cave show and his streams. JPEG is one of the most interesting rap artists to me right now, and I cannot express how much I love Remi. This is a happy video.
What are you talking about Bringing back instrumentation?😂😂 I'm order to create Music you necessarily need instrumentation If you mean acoustic instruments your even more wrong seen as he uses electronic instruments + He's bringing back soul & emotion? Do you think part of society or musicians don't have a soul or emotions Your motivation is mysterious to me But you seem to want to unnecessarily praise kenny for things that are a necessary part of being human or a musician I don't know if you want it to sound piffy & smart but you sound completely uneducated Also modern music? You think he's brining instrumentation be I But you know modern music Your a complete waste of life & not worth my time It's very unlikely you'll change much just keep making ignorant sentimental statements that are beyond your knowledge Especially if your relatively old
When this went up two years ago it was how I found Remi Wolf and I quickly became a fan - two years later, just saw her at the O2 in Brixton, London today. It was my first time going to a live concert for an actual big artist and her and her band were absolutely incredible. If you ever get the chance to see her live, do everything you can to make it there 🫶🏽
Added this album to my running playlist in September. It’s February now, and I just finished my first marathon, listening to Last Words as the sun rose during the race. Truly a great moment. Thanks for helping me through 26.2, @kennybeats! 🌺
Ugh thank you so much Kenny for bringing together these amazing talents in one place for this unique performance. Remi wolf is a national treasure that has yet to be fully discovered.
I keep coming back to to watch this again. The music is so jazzy and relaxed, the lyrics & beats are so catchy (don’t we all say goodbye too often?!). Love watching everyone just putting out their sound & backing up Remi & Nami. Kenny hands off all the kudos- so modest, what a total sweetheart 💕
That was beautiful. I would never have listened to this if It weren't recorded by Tiny Desk Concert on youtube. What a service to the world for people who love music!
I've been singing and humming these songs for days now. Such Joy and Inspiration. This is something special that I'll enjoy and share for years to come. "Double Up"❤Gratitude and Best to All!🎶
Kenny Beats has just always been so perfectly blended into the music scene, and this set shows it. He just builds relationships, and each of those relationships adds something extra special to his music. What a talent.
love seeing the sample done live through the 2p-404 that’s so dope what a beautiful set all around though i love that louie is still getting the love that it deserves thank you kenny for such a beautiful album and tiny desk and just the good vibes🙏🙏
Music is so powerful, my 3 year old daughter requests the “airplane song” a few times a week. We have dance parties to it and catch big vibes. A core memory for all of us. -Much love from the Uriarte’s
Kenny is honestly such a treasure to music and what he's doing and done for music producers is so huge. Even in this collabing with Nami, Nami is such an under rated, unknown, genius sample maker even just giving a little feature like this is so huge. Always seems like he'd rather lift people up than take the spotlight. Much love Kenny.
Kenny, Remi, and Peggy are 3 of my favorite people on music right now. Louie is an incredible album and Kenny seems like such a good dude. Also Remi kills live. Saw her last year and it was one of my favorite shows I’ve been too. Orion Sun opened for them, and she’s also great.

This video came out a couple days after I lost my grandma and I haven’t been able to listen to Louie since, without thinking about her. When I lost my grandpa I revisited the album. This is officially my dead loved ones album and I couldn’t be more content with it. Thanks Kenny.
