Laurie Gilmores books are pretty much a series so I really recomend that you read the first two before the Christmas tree farm. Bennet Ellis is the brother of the female main character in Pumpkin spice.
I love reading physical books, but having a Kindle is great too. It keeps things minimalist and is so easy to carry around! You can even read in the dark, and doesn't make your eyes as tired as smartphones/tablets do. Also you have amazon prime reading/kindle unlimited so it's easier to try new genres! 🥰
The way your dog is looking at you while you were talking about your October books 🥹😭 also love and other words is such a good book. I’m excited to see what you think of it. I’m did have some things I wish would have been different I guess you could say but it didn’t hurt my experience of it overall if that makes sense. If you’ve never read Archer’s Voice I would def recommend if you like romance, however it does have some topics in it that I’d look up first! :)
haha omg I looked back at the part of belle in the background and she is such main character energy!! lol 😂🥹🐶I think I should read love and other words next! I haven't head of Archer's Voice but I will definitely look into it! thank you for the reccs love 🩷 hope you're having a nice weekend!
Such a cute video, I loved it! ☺️ So, I used to be like you and swore I’d never want to give up physical books but then I caved and tried a kindle years ago and now I can’t go back. I have 3 kindles now and I’m obsessed with them all 😂
I grew up reading. I love romance, women’s fiction, fantasy (without the romance), self help, and memoirs. I read multiple books at one time but I also read one book at a time. It really just depends on what I’m in the mood for. And I’m a straight physical book person. I like to highlight/tab/write in my books LOL
Love your genre selection!! 💗 and yesss i love physical books I don’t think I can see myself wanting to pick up a kindle over books 🙈 also love that idea of highlighting! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend :)
@@bibliophile_mely it is amazing! You picked the perfect seasonal drink because it tastes like the holidays in a cup! I love it and will definitely make it one of my favorites too 😊☕️
My favourite genre is romance mostly but ive recently started to read thrillers and been loving them! I thought that about books to but have recently bough a kindle and love both!! And yes I can only read one book at a time it would stress me out haha
Just stumbled across this video and it was really cute and cosy. The Dream Harbor series is so good, defo get Pumpkin Spice and Bluebell if you can. You don’t need to read them in order but things will make sense if you do. I prefer physical books but am starting to get into my kindle era. Hoping Santa might bring me a new one as mines a bit slow. I find it perfect for when I go away on holiday/vacation and because my home library is at capacity it makes it easier to store more books on. What series/books have you read so far that you love? ACoTaR is my go to comfort read. Such a great series.
Thank you!! 🤍 I’m so happy you found me! I like the idea of taking kindle for travel and leaving physical books at home especially to keep them in good condition. I am so brand new to books, the only series I have been enjoying is Abby Jimenez books!!💕
@@lovealways.natalie Kindles are definitely a good investment and with Amazons Black Friday deals here now is probably the perfect time to get one. I love Abby Jiminez, she is an auto buy author for me.
I think it depends on your personality. I personally don’t like reading just one book. Right now I have about 7 I’m reading. Haha I rotate. I’m the kind of person I also wait until a show is over to watch it or has a few seasons. My anxiety can’t handle a cliffhanger. I’ve been reading Quicksilver and had been doing so good not spoiling it for myself. BUT I’m almost done and started stressing and had to go to the end of the book to see who lived 😂
@@candacelaird9440 haha I love that! Very true, it depends on the person and I tried reading two books recently and so far I like it. Also that’s so relatable lol sometimes I will read more than I want to because im eager and want to get to the good parts 😂
I enjoyed the video! Thank you. 💜 I'm a mood reader for sure so...I usually have at least 3 books going at once... all different genres and usually 1 physical, 1 kindle, 1 audio. That said... sometimes I get carried away (right now I have 6 books going) lol. I do recommend a kindle... it's nice to have that option...especially for travel or night reading. Personally I don't set reading goals...I did last year (12 for the year) and I read 15 and for some reason I didn't feel proud or accomplished at all... so this year I just read and enjoyed and I'm already at 43 books for the year. Thanks again and happy reading!
Oh and I'm newly into reading too! It's only been 2 years since I became a consistent reader. It's so exciting when you first get into it and there are so many books 📚 to look into! I'm excited for you.
I love your advice!! Thank you and wow 43 books is amazinggg! I've loved books since I was a teen, and now am just getting into reading again as a peaceful/fun hobby 😊
Before you do anything else,PLEASE read “Love and Other Words” trust me. This book is soooooo good!! Also, I totally understand how you feel about e-readers. But I have found ways to enjoy both.
That's what i've heard! I will read it first because I want to save my holiday books for later this month and December! ☺️ thank you for the recommendations
