FNATI, But Dumb! - Silent Nightmare at Disney Completed

Funny mode. I liked the part where mortimer got buffed and silented all over the place.

serious though.. this mode was kinda.. mid... it took me 2-3 hours to beat with around 5 5am deaths. I didn't enjoy this too much, i just kinda beat it to beat it if you know what i mean. I know i said i would never touch silent mode, but ermm oops!
How silent mode works is every ingame hour, 3 characters get chosen to be buffed (with visual and audio cues respectively), and return to normal after about 30 seconds (for most characters.) That's true up until 5 am, where every character is buffed for the remainder of the night. Each character has their own specific buff and the main difficulty of silent nightmare at disney is to learn how to play around the buffs in 1-4 and simply survive 5 am no matter what. Also power mode is a thing, a random camera will have a green circle that you have to shut off to set the usage to 0. When power gets down to about below 30%, your vision starts going away. Luckily power hardly matters in silent nightmare at disney
So you may know now why I had 5 5 am deaths. While going into 5 am without nerves is not that hard, going into 5 am with a tiny bit of nerves and a tiny bit of having to pay attention (you dont have to pay attention in nightmare at disney lets be honest) will make you die very very easily. I even had a 6:56, which just shows how much you have to pay attention compared to regular nad. Overall, the mode is not too bad difficulty wise and 5 am carries the difficulty. I'd say the hardest character buff is the face, sometimes you just kinda forget that he was buffed and get brain rng. Second is definitely mortimer, he's extremely easy to forget especially at 5 am. Third is Pete. Not even the silent mode buff, just the character itself. Why is he so hard for my brain to see with the monochrome effect? He's legitimately most of my deaths on this mode and probably a good portion of my 5 am deaths.
Enjoyment wise is a different story. This mode was REALLY boring to play. You gotta put up with the 12-4 am cutscene and not have brain rng at 5 am to win. Dying at 5 am all the time does not really motivate you to play, and i couldn't play for very long without getting bored and just stopping.
I will yap about my true opinion on silent mode for a bit though. It's a very funny inclusion to fnati but dumb, considering it doesn't really fit the mode and the silent mode mechanics almost seem like they were intentionally made bad. That being said, i do not mind its existence, I think fnati but dumb wouldn't be fnati but dumb without it at this point.
