This is a very good reborn/revenge-plot story set in ancient times. The characters and storyline are well constructed and managed to keep me interested all the way through. I loved this strong and clever FL who became unwavering in her love after rebirth. I also loved the supportive and loving ML. Acting wise this is pretty good. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is betrayed by the man she loves (2ML) and his mistress (2FL), tricking her unloved husband (ML), the Prince, into giving up the throne and the military power and all of her family to be executed. ML is finally stabbed by 2ML (his own brother) and dies in the arms of FL, who dies shortly afterwards. FL is then somehow reborn on her original wedding day with ML. A day where she tried to escape the wedding and therefore was hunted down and tied up. She decides to change her approach completely. She persuades ML to untie her and starts off dealing with an adopted sister of ML, that she knows to cause her problems later on - and then she seduces her husband to convince him of her sincerity. A task that needs more than just a few words or actions. In the days that follows, she carefully executes her plans for revenge and slowly alters the original story. But as things unfold, it becomes increasingly harder for FL to predict the future because her actions change the choices made by the villains. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending, but the last scene makes it a bit open too.
Disagree. This drama is bullshit paced. Imagine the old doctor coming in to save someone but he spends a long ass time just "xu jiu“ (talking about the past) with the duke. Then, when that's all done and done, he sees the patient and goes, "Oh my! This is the girl I wanted to make my student. She's [blah blah blah blah blah]." Holy shit, I never wanted to dismantle an old man's skeleton this much for a drama.
This is my favorite of all chinese historical drama I watched. The way Song Ci looked at Tang Shi, it's like he really liked her irl, and when he smiles at her, I just melt inside. The acting between the 4 main characters are superb specially the FL and ML. loved it, just didn't like the last part that much.

There was nothing wrong with the last 3 second . It was entertaining and the FL did a good job. Yes, she did failed to save herself and fallen for some of the antagonists plans but in the end she got herself out of it. It was realistic because it showed that jut being reborn doesn’t mean that everything will go your way. 😊😊😊😊. ML just showed that he loved FL and no matter how she acted, he will always support her. The acting was not awkward and all the actors did a good job 🎉🎉😊❤❤❤
I loved this but I feel like the FL complicated things by not being open and honest with ML. If she had been honest with him from the start about why she was pretending to be still inlove with 2ML. Then it would have avoided all these misunderstandings and she could have avoided hurting him so much through the letters.
It's hard to beleive that she really loved him as she hurt him relentlesly. I got quite annoyed withn this. I much more prefere revenge stories where FL and ML trust each other and execute revenge together.
*_the FL goes through a rebirth, as she likes the wrong guy and finds herself, her father and her husband killed...so she takes a rebirth going back to the wedding night and makes up with her husband,planning to kill the 2ML/2FL..But the FL is stupid to not reveal to her husband the previous birth and events..he did repeatedly ask her and trust her but she acts confused..likewise even after rebirth, she falls into the same trap of wine drinking etc and embarrasses her husband initially..what if the doctor wasn't capable of finding out the poison?? her reputation and her husband's would've gone,outta the palace, but later the pace picks up and the villains are dealt with and the leads unite..Good for a one time watch, the plot is interesting_*
This is the 2nd time I've watched this. The thing about watching too many mini dramas is that I always end up forgetting lots of details or d fact that I've already seen it. There are no titles for these short dramas with no big studio backing. So it's easy to forget them nor can they be checked as being "watched". 2nd time around, this drama is still ok in my books. Not great but it's entertaining and i always end up finishing it.

The ML can get the award of THE ULTIMATE SIMP of the century 😂 His simping is on another level. The FL’s actions were a bit frustrating sometimes, like I can even understand if her husband ever wants to kick her out, luckily he’s her No.1 Simp and she’s safe. The 2nd ML actually has a way to redeem himself, he’s almost got something to make himself sympathetic to the audience (like the truth about his biological mother) but towards the end he still chooses power over everything and that deservingly led to his downfall. I always see stupid FLs who persist being terribly abused by their beloveds while the 2FLs usually cunning and selfish, but this 2nd FL’s loyalty towards her abuser is on another level…but her being a horrible person making the audience feeling no sympathy at all towards her. The scenes seem copy-pasted sometimes and the editing & flow were a bit lacking (almost terrible sometimes)…but the actings of the casts are quiet acceptable, costumes are quiet decent and the FL (and 2nd ML) are at least good-looking
