This makes me want to rewatch Haato’s early Minecraft days, when she was wandering around the JP server while building alone, giddy and ecstatic the instant she stumbled into the slightest interaction with another member. She would be positively glowing after each little exchange, just overjoyed not to be alone anymore. Maybe Haachama should take a stroll down memory lane and rewatch some of those early streams too, then maybe realize what she might take for granted now. Those streams are what really hooked me into hololive.
They are such great friends because they don't listen to each other. They can just talk over each other and no one feels guilty over it. I really do love their friendship though. They aren't in the same agency, so you can tell that they stay friends because they really like each other. As fans, it can be hard to distinguish sometimes if people are just work friends or real friends.

Honestly, I think think anyone thinks that the girls stream in their real voice. Calli does, possibly Irys and Fauna. And that might be it. Almost all the other girls put on a voice and you sometimes catch them doing voice exercises to find the right pitch. Even Kronii, who doesn't speak in a high voice, still does exercises to get her voice into the Kronii pitch.
I mean thats just something people do in general. The receptionist/cashier/customer service workers/public speakers/random kid doing a presentation will often use a difderent voice or intonation without thinking about it as well.
Yeah, most people have 4 or 5 voices, if you really pay attention: People in sales often get told to speak about 10 - 15% faster than they normally would, because it makes you sound more knowledgable. Likewise, when doing public speaking, we tell people to be silent when thinking rather than use filler words, because it makes you sound more in control. Being more emotive and energetic makes you seem calmer and more confident. Etc. These are all things people recognize instinctively, and a lot of stuff I’ve trained speakers on. This stuff doesn’t come naturally to most people. The ones it does come naturally to are people we tend to call “charismatic”. Also, some of it, especially the vocal exercises, is finding a tone that works for multiple hours. Back when I used to podcast, if the cast went longer than a couple hours, I’d have a sore throat and be hoarse the next day. The vocal cords are muscles like any other, and constant use of them can be pretty exhausting.
In alternate universe, even if you switched them, possibly some people won't notice Haachama might felt like that but Hololive members are always ready for sudden unannounced totsumachi.. lol (at least as long as Matsuri or Lamy not streaming and Choco-sen is not sleeping)
