This may be weird but I started to like worship because of Selman
this happened to me almost 2 years after submitting my life to Christ. I was prompted to ask "who am I speaking to? the enemy or the Holy Spirit?" and the enemy revealed his true self to me. but i believe that God allowed that to happen to me because it drove me to read my bible more and stop depending on what I "feel" all the time. to rely more on written truth. now the enemy has no choice but to try to use scripture to confuse me. but because God revealed to me His heart as I read His word more, the enemy does not stand a chance. the Bible says that the people of God suffer for a lack of knowledge. READ YOUR BIBLE BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST!!! AND DON'T JUST READ IT... STUDY THE SCRIPTURES AND WORDS IN THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE (HEBREW, ARAMAIC, GREEK)!!! be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind!!!
This is my current problem. When I truly think about there, all the times I have felt closest to God He has never said any words to me. When I was baptized, when I accepted Christ, when I reaffirm my faith in Christ after falling. I heard no words yet knew His presence was on me and within me.
I think when we try and 'listen' to God what we are doing is asking for a sign. A voice popping up in our head, a mind within our mind that is not our own is a heck of a sign. God cannot stand people doing that. Jesus was so exasperated by when He walked on earth. Ask God to reveal the path, ask God to reveal the truth, but in His way, not ours.
So be it in Christ of Daniel 10 ad Revelation 1:12-18
A few times I know God beens right there, what he's doing I don't know but it feels like a spiritual high. The voices in my head I don't fully understand but when I'm in agreement with them I get deliverance. Thank God for Jesus sending the advocate. Have faith and trust in God

Jesus answered a question I asked with “be careful”, in a dream repeated twice.

Holy spirit lead me, it's hard in this world
This is the only man I have heard preach the truth, I have been obeying these voices for years thinking it was the Holy Spirit, and it wasn't, it was Satan talking to me. Every word, I did this, I did it for 44 years and destroyed myself, truly I have nothing at this moment, no job , no vehicle, It's me he is speaking too, please help in Jesus name,
It is the same with me. I am oppressed by these wicked spirits. They lie to me and bring confusion. I am currently ill and they are taking advantage of my illness.

One of the ways God leads in important issues, is through the scriptures playing from your spirit man, like a tape.
Wait for the Word confirmation on important issues.
Satan is also able to speak to us because we are searching for the voice of God - so to beat confusion sometimes, you can apply HUMAN WISDOM.
Keep it basic.
God does not lead with confusion or like I'm learning by force.
Demons are in the minds and bodies of many christians today and we have to close access doors of SIGHT, and MEDITATION. Thoughts attract spirits too.
The basic final thing to be safe is by 2 or 3 witnesses.
The Holy Spirit will always speak through other persons/ believers.
Don't make important decisions like marriage, resignation, etc if you have not use 2 or 3 of these tips.

Also increase your fire, by connecting to a pure fountain - a Spirit filled intercessory preacher.
When you get high in your spirit, the will of God becomes clearer.
Always plead the blood of Jesus before you sleep and rebuke demons in your thoughts and body.

Try to commit to an hour of prayer daily coupled with bible reading. Same time.. Daily. God loves commitment, and He answers prayer

A true spiritual man is a person who has submitted wholly and “foolishly” to the spirit of God and to the leadings of the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 3:5-7, trust in the Lord with all of your heart, lean not unto thine understanding, and He will direct thy path.
Another key note I got from this teaching is that the devil also disguises as the Holy Spirit. How to discern whether it’s the Spirit or not is to understand that the Holy Spirit does not force or impose-oppress-the Holy Spirit allows man the will to make a choice, I.e, either to obey or not, and in so obeying the Spirit, you do with the acknowledgement of freedom of choice, peace and from a place of genuineness. I saw myself being called by ancestors spirit and I refused, shouting I will never bow before you, iĺ not submit to you, iqas told not to say it again, but I continued, from there I found myself searching for a signal. No, he wasn't forced. When he refused to do what he was asked and decided to run thinking that he doesn't worth it doing the work of God or the fear he has concerning the people of Nineveh, he realized he had wronged God thus sinning against him. The moment you know you have sin against God, then it means you know what you did wasn't right you automatically gain the mercy of God and that was the case of Jonah. That's why the ship he boarded was about to be wrecked because of his sin, and when he confessed it God showed him mercy by letting the fish swallow him so he won't die. And even in the belly of the whale,he was ready to work for God willing because he realized even after sinning,God still showed him mercy by letting him stay alive in the belly of a whale. Let me me ask you, have you ever heard of someone being alive after being swallowed up by a whale or big fish or even an animal??? No right, so God didn't forced him. He later even saw the reasons why God was sending him to Nineveh

God sending the fish to swallow Jonah was God showing him mercy.
1. Have you wondered what would have happened to Jonah if the fish didn't come?
2. Jonah was ready to go into the sea knowing God's nature of mercy.
3. Jonah stayed till the third day before praying yet the fish kept him safe and God didn't even rebuke him. Read the last chapter of the book of Jonah
4. Jonah got to Nineveh unharmed, not looking like what he had gone through.
Look through the scriptures and you'll find out that God never forced anyone to do anything, even to obey him. Israel is an obvious example of God continually pleading with them to do the right thing for their good. God's mercy is mysterious, we don't understand fully until we obey.

This is not true, Moses always had the call in his heart for the salvation of his people... what Moses did not want to do was speak because he had a language problem and every time God told him what to say he refused. It was then that God said I will speak with you but it is Aaron who will speak to Pharaoh in your place, God said to Moses I make you God for Pharaoh and Aaron will be your prophet I will be with the mouth of both of you. .. But it was Aaron who always spoke to Pharaoh, 'cause Moses refused to...
God never forced Moses, on the contrary God got angry with Moses because he did not want to speak for him, but He accepted the will of Moses... and in the end Moses didn't speak, it was his brother who did it...
The apostle said that God can put pressure on your heart but it is up to you to decide if you want to follow or not
But not following the words of the Holy Spirit can come with these consequences.

We respect your opinion but what exactly is your contention? That the devil cannot deceive using a subtle voice? I believe that is the context of this video, it is not so much as who the Devil is trying to impersonate. We believe when the Devil tempted Jesus he used scriptures and the temptations were subtle. The Holy Spirit took him there, he fasted on completion, a voice that disguised as if it is the voice of the one that led Him there. The tempter came as if he has good intent to the hungry Jesus, if Jesus had no discernment to distinguish the voices within, He would've fallen to it

God does not give us the spirit of fear. Trust Him and read His Word for yourself as well. I have walked with the Lord for many years and have made mistakes, but God’s reach is so deep that He knows your heart. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you any more or less. Obedience is for us. His Word guides and protects no matter what happens in our lives. Praise Him and know He hears you!! This life is a journey not a marathon -. Love conquers all !!!

Indeed,i remember well God has been telling me to fast but not by force,i remember asking God that now that have known the line of my call what should I do, God told me to pray and fast,God always reminds me of the promise i made that He opens my financial doors i stretch my hand,He reminds me calm,if it's church,He tells stretch hand to church,i asked him which church,He directed,He always reminds me that i have to pray at 3 always thats when am weak,I will always hear a calm voice saying,"but you said you will wake up at this time and you pray,"and when I hear it even the sleep disappears , wow God is really faithful

English is not an easy language to learn.

It will be about you, and it will involve numbers you see and tasks that are urgent. Stay in communion with believers and test the spirits.
My experience not long ago, the proposal sounded too sweet but by the help of the HolySpirit i realiesd He offers more than what im being offered and He doesnt offer like that. Glory be to God.
I'm hurting now, because I know I destroyed my own life listening to this voice thinking it was the Holy Spirit.
