without a doubt, the best bass covers on youtube
Good Example of a song where the bass is harder to learn and play then the Guitar part :)
That is just perfect. Bill Wyman would be proud!
Thanks Mr Infusion. You are a champion! Whenever I am looking for a bass cover for a song you always pop up and I love following your user friendly examples! Thanks chief keep up the good work. Z
I so much love these videos (I learn loads from them!) Thanks so much for posting.
AWESOME BASS COVER!!!************
Great cover... You really nailed that 60s vibe!
Dude you are great! Saving me time!
great great great cover man!!!
One of my favorite aspects of your videos is your economy of motion. I've been playing for 10 years and I still look like I'm struggling or flailing around wildly a lot of the time, whereas you make it look simple and effortless, even on some tricky basslines. However, it also makes it child's play to pick out the parts based on your fingers, so thanks so much for that! It almost feels like cheating :-)
I feel the same. Also playing 10 years. Was a guitarist turned bass. Wish Infusion was facing more towards the camera on this one. Can't see too well. I always use his though if there is a choice!!! Go infusion!!!! Any chance of doing this one over? :-)
Really cool!!
I love it
I love your technique, and thanks for your video, it saved me alot of time, I play bass and sing lead so now I got to learn the lyrics, last week we learn paint it black, as a 3 piece band its hard to pull off but it sounds great, we are olny doing 2 rolling stones covers and this will be the second one. and like i said, thanks very much!
woo! i have the same bass, looks so nice on camera
thanks for sharing infusion26
Good question. A lot of us learned back in time when there was no tab. We had nothing but our ears, a record, a tape the radio, a guitar and time plus desire. Knowing your notes up and down the neck is not a bad place to start. Basically you just slide your finger up a string listening to the notes until you find the right one, then move to another note. Slow, but possibly a very important way to learn verse instant tab and clips. Gives you more confidence! Try it, you'll find the notes.
I practice some of your videos instead of searching for tabs. thanks for helping out we have a gig coming up :)
wish i had your kind of ear thanks man.
@raptor36100 I can read tabs, but don't often use them. I do everything by ear.
Good! Most tutors incorrectly play the same notes and timing as the fuzz guitar riff. Makes me crazy! This is the correct notes, timing and groove. Kind of a counterpoint against the riff👍
@bass6300 Thanks man let there be peace !!! :-)
Hey @infusion26 thnkx 4 takin the time to upload XD! u save my ass i have to play at an old rock party..... XD
@MrNorbi14 Why should I ? I like to really feel the bass when playing, so I use fingers on both hands
I think steve laughter is in essence the reason why the best musicians in the world leave juilliard, thank u for the example infusion26
I can't help but think of dinosaurs when I look at your right arm.
@raptor36100 It's odd to figure out musics by ear. I mean, when you can't you think "how this people know how to play by ear?" But then when you start to teach your ears, suddenly you just figure out how to play, like a natural feeling :)
i like the sound.. im not familiar with guitars, what's the type or name of bass guitar ur using? thnx
It is should be played like Bill Wyman - guitar neck up
@spacepatrolman Carol Kaye one of the most recorded session bass players of all time used a pick
@spacepatrolman i know her history, i kinda share it being a former jazz guitarist myself. I started playing bass a while back and loved it. i just think the pick no pick debate is pointless i'm just as comfortable playing either way depending on the style required. I just think that most people dont realize how many of their favorite bass lines were actually played with a pick
Hi Infusion 26, i think that Bill plays the minor third...
@SUBCOOLMUSIC Thanks and good luck with your bass playing !!!
@infusion26
You are right! Pick are for newbies! :-) Anyways are you able to play Angie by rolling stones???
The reason to use pick is for a sound with my attack and treble.. MCcartney played just aswell with fingers. His sound is with pick.
Lakland 44-02 bass
@MrNorbi14 I like to do more Rolling Stones stuff.
Learned this quickly but the only problem i am having is where the pauses in the song followed by Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I cannot seem to get the main riff into time from the pause for some reason.
Count. 1234,123 and then the run is B C# D# and then you start the main riff again. But counting is the essence for any proper bass playing
It wasn't the counting but starting off again was just putting me off and i couldn't get it right.
@thibagon Sorry but I don't use tabs. You'll feel much better about yourself if you figure it out on your own than if you use tabs (which may be wrong anyway) Just try listening to it and you'll figure it out This allows you to get more enjoyment from making music.
What is your sound set up for making TH-cam video's? I just bought a Logitech C310 webcam and the sound sucks. I just ordered a CAD U37 microphone but haven't recieved it yet. Just wanting to get an ideal of what others do to record themselves playing along with music on TH-cam. Any help is appreciated...
it sounds ok to me mate... although i play...3 times on the E 7th fret of the A string....then run down from 4th fret of D string..to 5th fret of D string then on to 7th fret of D string...then do it in reverse....i always look at how you play things and i think you are great keep it up mate....
@spacepatrolman What about Bill Wyman and John Deacon (though he used his fingers most of his time, many songs also were "picked")?

now 5 can´t get no satisfaction
@MrNorbi14 @infusion26 According to me, I have a balance use between pick and fingers. However, it mostly depend on the song (if the bassist played with pick or not).
... and @AFreezerKx So Paul McCartney is a noob by using a pick?
En av dom rysarna.
hey hey hey thats what i say...
@marinamart1 LOL! Power to you! :-)
But how you do you know to play this songs with the ear o with tablatures?
Thanks.
😎°💥ABSOLUT 💥💪. 👢💅💯🎸🎶📟🎻🌴🌳🏰⛵🌊🌎

hi, i´m a spanish guitar player, and i´m lookig for a bass player to form a collaboration music band to record clasic rock songs, sending ours waves files and editing the audio tracks(cubase,nuendo...)we can do all this throught internet, are you interested in this band? i have a drum player and me(guitar) but we need a bass player and a singer too. do you like this project? after we can upload the videos to youtube in split screen mode
Almost forgot Duff McKagan...
Why don't you use picks?
U should play like Bill hahaha
ocultas con todos tus dedos las notas.
Oh man 348k people gonna learn this wrong now lmao major 3rd is incorrect I believe
I love your playing but here, the riff is wrong. You're playing E-F#-G#-A. I've got the sheet of this song and it's E-F#-G-A. Slighty different but that sounds better that way. Nice cover though.
SORRY ITS YOUR SHEET ///WRONG
THE RIGHT LINE is the real truth
friendly and congrat for the bass
friendly JEAN ROBERT DRAY SUR TH-cam
SORRY BIS MY FRIEND
You're not so wrong cause when i listen this song here' s what i hear
E..E.E/FX/Ab/A..A.AG/FX/E..E.
JEAN ROBERT DRAY
But it's wrong, consistently wrong.
one of my favourite songs. Love this baseline!
