Hofer and Lidl can be neighbours and friends and what about you and your neighbours?

Passing theough Germany I can see Aldi = Hofer and Lidl next to each other! Isnt that great? Competitors but neighbours at the same time! And what about us? Can we be competitors and friends at the same time?
