As someone who runs a small business I can see a clear issue what was missed and would have prevented this all from happening… Better communication. Chris should have a serious sit down and get everything clear between him and his players of what their intentions are and about how the payments will be for the events and runs and all that stuff. It seems like Greg expected more then he was given. Communication is key in any successful group or organization.

Of course Chris gets the biggest piece of the pot from that 50k check especially if he paid for everybody’s travel expenses, food, etc.2. Y’all gotta look at the big picture The 1000-1500 range that he paid those players is actually a very fair amount considering their trip was already free so basically they left with a gain of 1000-1500$ just to hoop and a free trip Chris said paying for all them cost almost 8k now if the hoolies lose that game and everybody gets that 2k that Greg said friga team got Chris still down about 6k for that whole trip and chances are he’s gonna let his team keep that 2k they made from the game so the rest of his players still gain 2k so had they lost chris basically wouldn’t have even gained anything from that trip. 3. Loyalty means everything the communication between them could be better but can’t blame Chris for being hurt somebody he considered family turned his back on him in his eyes I know a lot of people that wouldn’t have gave Greg shit if that same situation happened to them so the fact he still threw him some bread while feeling hurt I commend him for that.

I think that also means you have to pay for their accommodations such as food, travel expenses etc. You probably should also have some type of contract at least. With that, it is less likely for any of the parties to get messed over, and issues with player performance can be resolved more easily. Lastly, if you feel a player has done something ethically/morally wrong then I guess you should just fire them. 🤷🏿♂️

Here’s the deal. I believe Chris about the Greg drama. Now did Greg do anything technically wrong, I’d say no. But you can’t have your cake and eat it too. At least not with Nick and Chris. So if you go out in the DM’s and imply a bunch of 💩 and in a live as well that you’re DTF to make content, just because you didn’t out right say it doesn’t absolve you from the shadiness. That being said, I believe Greg has Chris’ back 💯 but I also believe that Greg was positioning himself for the future with Nick. Not to partner, but to use him for easy money. I also believe Chris genuinely feels stabbed in the back. Betrayed. Which I think anyone would. Now the paying less for having to absorb a lot of the costs is one thing, but out of retaliation is another. Fair is fair and to pay less because of emotional reasons is simply wrong and petty. Just because you have the power to do something doesn’t mean you should or that it’s morally right.
Bottom line, I’d say Chris is objectively wrong here, which should be considered as it’s the only way to draw a clear conclusion to the events. In the court of public opinion and the bonds of being boys, Greg is super fucking wrong. If we’re being honest here, you can tell Greg knows he fucked up. You can also see Chris feels justified in his actions and is righting a wrong on his terms without putting it out on a live.
It’s a shame a lack of communication resulted in a possible loss of a friend.

It’s pretty simple never pay for nothing without receiving a receipt and never do a service without having a contract. Don’t mix business with fam or friends because not everyone moves like you when money is involved. Don’t know all the details as that’s should be internal between Chris and his team but whatever the agreed about amount should be paid. If Chris is handling accommodations that is also apart in the funding / amount he pays his players. It’s like working a regular job with benefits those benefits are apart of your salary such as health care, 401k, vacation, etc. if Chris is booking the flights and rooms Food and all that don’t expect a big piece of the pie when you’re just along for the ride and not handling the back end of the business side of things. At the end of the day it’s Chris platform and you got the opportunity to build your own brand that’s the difference between being a boss and employee.
