Glad that you mentioned Alkaline Trio! I'm not sure if they get talked about a lot, but they are definitely awesome! Matt Skiba's vocals aren't really that great, but it doesn't have to be! His vocals are great for punk rock. It's good for what it is. His guitar playing is awesome as well. Matt Skiba is no Chris Cornell, Roger Daltrey, Justin Hayward or Freddie Mercury, but his vocals are really awesome for punk rock. It's been 4 years since we last had an Alkaline Trio album and I want them to release a new album soon. I would actually say that Rise Against are the better band personally.

I’m not gonna lie I was learning one of the songs on guitar
Is it though?
Yes.
Im a mgk fan but ever since he transitioned to pop punk, im not a fan. Painful to listen to and watch. Its like glam pop punk. Max cringe
'oh boy' is right
yea there’s also a reason he’s selling out arenas right now and your sitting in your room whining about him.
Selling out to people with no taste no doubt.
Shitty drugs always make money. So does mcdonald’s
Honestly dude wasnt a terrible rapper, he could spit when he wanted to. He wasn't great but he could rap his ass off when he actually tried. But his punk music phase has absolutely failed, at least quality wise. Unfortunately they've sold really well, but everyone knows just how awful it is. Chart success doesn't fool anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together.
MGK needs to go back to rapping lol he’s at least somewhat decent at that… I think? Not a big rap guy lol great review regardless!!
He's not lmao, not in my opinion at least. But its definitely less horrid than this.
You’re in love with a what?
Great video, I laughed so much. Couldn't say it better myself. 🤘
I don't and won't listen Machine Gun Kelly, but I will say that for me personally, Blink 182's Enema Of The State is the worst pop punk album of all time, to go from the awesomeness that was and is Dude Ranch to the overpolished, overproduced, over-everything debut of Travis Barker (the worst thing to ever happen to punk or pop punk), no. Just no...
I feel ashamed to admit it though
Zero out of 5
All you guys are just haters
12 year old ass comment
His album is good
Good joke NOT ALBUM SUCKS
I find it decent as well but Tickets was better.
POOR HATERS .. this week MGK is the n. 1 artist and has the n.1 album among all charts in US and has the n. 1 album in Canada, Australia and n. 2 in UK .
I promise you I dont care
Because he caters to the charts and nothing else
Great,he is on the radio a lot
What does that prove about his music actually being good?
Nobody denies that his music is popular
Exactlyyyyy
Being on the charts doesn’t make it good
He just got his 2nd #1 pop-punk/rock album in a row, stay mad 😂. Numbers don’t lie 🤷🏻♂️. What are YOU doing the day he headlines lalapalooza? 😋
Just because an album automatically topped some imaginary chart doesn't mean its good, case and point, St. Anger by Metallica
Well said man , all these people hating that cant produce shit themselves
@@AstolfoTheRiderOfBlack Eh, at least St. Anger is tolerable. This MGK album (and its fans) are intolerable at worst.
Good for him, his music (at least his pop-punk albums) is still garbage. Only 12-15 year old kids listen to his music and think this is great.
@@AstolfoTheRiderOfBlack St Anger has enjoyable riffs and a purpose
Glad music is subjective 😂if these haters were in control of music scenery we would have been robbed of good music.... I luv Tickets to my downfall and this album.
Good music he said😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 how many artists have you heard? Only MGK? Lmao
@@devilman444a plenty actually, all different genres just recently been loving Masked Wolf(rap), Memphis May Fire (rock), jimmy sax(saxophone) and MGK especially TTMD album... I actually take more time discovering music whatever genre that is, and less time shitting on other artists and making these kind of vids of artists that I didn't much ENJOY ....i stress on the word enjoy cuz others can happen to enjoy what I didn't enjoy. You're welcome to do the same
@@deathwish3577
If you get offended so easily, just don’t watch these kinda video and leave comment and shit bro lmao this is a “review channel” not a MGK fan boy video lol I’m sure you are just having emo phase cuz if you claim to listen to a lot of music and if you think this is good music, that is very embarrassing lmao
I saw clips of him with Howard Stern and Robin lately, and i cringed just seeing him, let alone listening to him.
I just saw the SOAD cover. Big time cringe.
@@themetalmeltdownofficial oh yeah- that’s right. Goddamn…
I tell you what , If this album is so fkn bad , can I hear something you have produced musically that's better ??, it's easy to sit in your room dogging the shit out of someone eh , well done man
You don’t need to make music to know that an album is bad. Just like how you don’t need to be a chef to know when food tastes gross.
Cry more
You’re one to talk. MGK is gone from pop punk. Rightfully so!
the hates real on ma boi bc going bck to bck number 1 albums is pretty shit 🤘🎸🍅🔥
Your talking about so you a chump gatekeeper are you mad
Tickets was way better but there were some bangers on this record. But majority have cringe lyrics and are to depressing. If you want an amazing pop punk album the story so far under soil and dirt in my opinion is the greatest pop punk record ever.
so in other words ... youre just another Fontano copycat
aaaaaaaaaa
Hi Everyone!
Anthony Fantano here internet's bussiest music nerd and i give this album a light 1, Tran
Sition, thank you for watching make sure to subscribe and keep falling in love with Emo Girls everyone
Edit: At least get his name right if you wanna call someone a Copycat
Making music reviews doesn’t make you a Fantano copycat
Ok if “mainstream sellout” is the worst pop-punk album ever, then why did it go #1?
Because people bought it. Something being sold is not the same as something being good.
Being at #1 doesn’t make it good
because people liked it so they bought it. Music is subjective.
