idk if y'all actually know what went down with the "chef" stuff BUT what had really happened was that the creators made the scientology episode. the person who voices chef is a scientologist (isaac hayes) and he got upset over the episode and left permanently. later for chefs character to be entirely killed off soon after.
i loved this episode but i cried sm watching it too, because this is a rare healthy friendship, cartman was so upset because chef was like a dad to him.

idk if y'all actually know what went down with the "chef" stuff BUT what had really happened was that the creators made the scientology episode. the person who voices chef is a scientologist (isaac hayes) and he got upset over the episode and left permanently. later for chefs character to be entirely killed off soon after.
