His lawyers from Sitting Pretty did not do a great job of defending him in the libel lawsuits the townspeople brought against him!

I am 27 so I wasn’t around for these but I absolutely love the idea of all of these different families around the country listening to this in their living room sitting around together, and then the next day everyone is talking about the same show they listened to the night before. With the introduction of the internet we will never experience that again, I think the last of this was the last season of Game of Thrones, MAYBE Stranger Things but even these aren’t even close to the same extent of mass viewership that these old time radio shows had.

I SAY THAT ANYBODY WHO CRITICISES THESE OLD MOVIE SHOWS REALLY SHOULD TRY TO FIND THE MOVIES, THEY ARE MASTERPIECES WITH CLIFTON WEBB PLAYING MR BELVEDERE, A MARVELLOUS ACTOR AND CERTAINLY WELL CAST IN THESE MOVIES. ONE CANNOT SEE THE THINGS THAT ARE DONE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE TODDLER WAS ACTING UP ME BELVEDERE UPENDS THE CEREAL BOWL ON HIS HEAD. SOUNDS AWFUL WRITTEN LIKE THIS BUT IT IS A SCREAM PARTICULARLY WHEN ONE REALISES THAT THE CHILD ACTED THE PART MARVELLOUSLY, OBVIOUSLY A GOOD LEARNER. I LOVE ALL O F THESE RADIO SHOWS AND COMPLEMENT ALL OF THOSE WHO MAKE THEM POSSIBLE. ONLY ONE TINY COMPLAINT, THE SOUND COULD BE BETTER. AT MY AGE WE NEED IT. BLESSINGS, TRIXIE 87, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

That sounds like Bill Johnstone, who played The Shadow, as Dean Gibbs.

RadioGold Index does list him in the credits, but not the role he's playing.
