Been to Gilli Lankanfushi... had the best experience! I love how the resort preserve the nature.. with the no shoes concept... no plastic... paradise on earth indeed.

Definitely a compilation of some of the best the Maldives has to offer. My first time to the Maldives was for 10 days at Hurawalhi, my next stay will most likely be at OZEN.
Indeed, people choice is very dreamy this year. OZEN is an excellent choice, but keep in mind that there is no snorkeling ( if you are looking for this activity as a priority )

I've been to Maldives 5 times and stayed in 3 of the resorts mentioned in your video: Baros, One and Only Reethi Rah and Gili Lankanfushi (on my honeymoon). The other 2 places I went to was Meeru Island and Paradise Island. Gili was the most expensive though
What do you recomand on Meeru?
@@magdalenacimpean4076 You can do snorkelling, parasailing and jet skiiing. They do several excursions like Kagi (a remote island that includes snorkelling and seeing dolphins), 4 Islands Excursion, Robinson Crusoe for couples, Daily Sunset Cruises, a morning trip to the capital Male. The resort has several facilities like open-air tennis courts, football pitches and other things too. You can also walk around the island in less than an hour and could be lucky enough to see reef sharks, lizards, a heron, stingrays, crabs. You can cycle around the island resort if you wish. Beaches are amazing with turquoise colour sea and swaying palm trees. They have 3 swimming pools, 2 main restaurants plus Asian Wok restaurant and a few bars. The main water villas and beach villas are in the east and north side of the island resort. The reception area and drop-off area is on the west side. Hope that helps

How far is it from NyC airports?
23 hour flight from Los angels so add another few hours to that.
Ideally, fly via Dubai or Doha ( waiting times at airports vary from 2 hours to 5, 6 sometimes :-/ ). Should be around 14 hours. Then add 4 hours app. to Male, Maldives. I recommend that you stop ( if your budget allows ) in Dubai for ie, spend a night or 2 _ after all it's far and an occasion to discover more countries. And then fly to Maldives. That's makes the trip much more enjoyable, mostly when coming from afar. Happy Dreaming ;-)
