This album was groundbreaking, it changed the pop industry and gave birth to a lot of the girls coming out lately just like Lana. Also you should react to Solar Power next, it's VERY different from her first album and Melodrama but i love it a lot. Not everyone's favorite and even some fans were disappointed but it has great sound that I think you might like.
The album is very groundbreaking and iconic but Lana was doing her thing in the alt scene even before Lorde debuted. Lorde did not inspire Lana in fact pure heroine was said to be a response to Born to Die.
@@ifmisowasamovie for the record, Lorde self-released her first project The Love Club EP back in 2012 the same year Lana released BTD. The EP consists of Royals and 4 other tracks. Royals was then included in Pure Heroine(2013) as Lead Single for Lorde's debut album. Lorde is already a thing way back in 2012 but not as big as Lana, the EP was then re-released in 2013 too before her debut album. So, Lorde wasn't inspired by Lana nor Lana was inspired by Lorde as they both came in the scene at the same time. They can be both considered as alternatives tho.

Really enjoyed your commentary. Lorde once said that Green Light was partly inspired by going to a Florence + The Machine concert, would love to see your take on their music✨
I highly appreciate your thorough analysis of the tracks. You consider them individually, but also as a part of the whole story. In addition to the lyrics and song structures, you even consider the songs sonically: the melodies, the choices of instruments, how the vocals and instruments are produced, etc., and how all those choices support the lyrics. That's really cool and refreshing to see here on TH-cam. So many "reaction" channels are very shallow. I also appreciate your humble personality, and that you're not overexaggerating your facial expressions or reactions. Everything is very sincere and authentic. You're awesome. Thank you. Edit: I don't know if you've heard these albums already, but I would LOVE to see your reactions and commentary: • MILKBLOOD - VOID EP • Flume - Palaces • Imogen Heap - Speak For Yourself • Sia - 1000 Forms of Fear • Charli XCX - how i'm feeling now • SOPHIE - Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides Edit 2: Also I have to say you are SUPER handsome and I love your accent. Is it German?
Thank you for the kind words. It’s nice to see someone acknowledge that I’m just being myself. I also hated it when reaction channels rarely talked about the lyrics or didn’t notice a part of the instrumental I enjoyed. It’s often over the top which is probably good for most viewers to watch but I didn’t really like it. I definitely planned on doing another Charli video. I had also done her self titled album Charli which came out after Pop2 but it was impossible to have it up on YT. Even if I only played like 20sec of a song it got blocked. After that I stopped with videos for her because it doesn’t make sense if nobody can watch them lol. But I’ll definitely try again with how I’m feeling now ✌️
