Hey Rob! Great Stuff! Really appreciate you incorporating the My Disney Experience app in your video and showing exactly what to search and where to click! Heading to the Party tonight and this video has helped me immensely with planning the night. Thank you again!!
Hi Matt - thanks so much for the generous Super Thanks - that was very kind of you! I hope you have a spooktacular time at the party tonight. Thanks for making our video part of your Not-So-Scary plan. 👻🎃💀
We enjoyed meeting you on the jungle cruise! Our family has been watching your videos for months. You’ve helped us on our last 2 family vacations to Disney so we were so excited to see you! We had a great time at the party!
Nice seeing you in Disney Springs today (heavy set sweaty dude). Totally did not want to bother you, but did want you to know you are appreciated. Thank you! ❤
Rob, thank you for all of the tips and tricks! Your videos are so helpful and your positivity is wonderful. I’ve watched all of your videos and they really helped us on our first trip to WDW.
I absolutely love how much information you give about using the My Disney Experience app. We'll be at WDW soon and I've learned so much about how to use the app from your videos. I'm not even attending MNSSHP and I still watched your video about it because of you!
I love your videos and your excitement about Disney. I have been to MK 5 times and never went to the Jungle Cruise, but watching your videos really made me want to go there 😁 Big kisses from Brazil and congratulations for your channel!
Best Jungle Cruise Skipper ever for MNSS!! I’d hire you 😊 thank you so much for another awesome video! Educational, entertaining, well organized and most importantly fun!! We are planning for next fall but I already feel prepared. Thanks EarScouts crew!
Hi Rob! Thank you so much for providing so many videos to ensure that everyone has the better Disney World Trip possible! Because of this, I was able to go from ride to ride to attraction with DAS and Genie +. Without your incredibly fun videos, I would have never been able to play those Disney genie slots! I looked forward to watching your videos and took tons of notes. I took most of your suggestions and I got on all the rides my family and I wanted to thanks to watching your videos and learning all our tips, tricks, and tutorials! My favorite
I’m sorry we didn’t bump into each other, but very glad to hear that it was a great trip. 😃 Thanks so much for all your support for our channel. We really appreciate it.
Thanks for this video! My partner is also going as a skipper and I am going as my favorite ride, Mad Tea Party. We have heard so much conflicting advice but I think we are sticking with your plan of entertainment first!
Hi Rob, found your channel a few weeks ago, its become my favorite disney vlog site,, love your cheerful attitude, your reviews on what you like and don't like, your strategies at doing things that make sense. Keep up the great work.
I’m headed to the Oogie Boogie Bash in a few weeks at Disneyland. Now I’m wishing I could hit up this party as well. Looks like so much fun! Thanks for another great, quality video!
We LOVED Oogie Boogie Bash last year! They are very different and there are things I like better about each of them. Oogie Boogie is way better for characters I think. Hope you have an amazing time at the party. 😃
Great video. I would like to know if you are already in the park and also planning to attend the Halloween party, should you still purchase multi lighting lane for the first part of the day?
Thanks so much Rob for these great videos. We arrive for Hollywood Studios on Oct 22nd. We are staying at an Air B N B and do not have early entry. What time do you recommend we arrive at HS to get into the park as early as possible? Thanks - Mike and Robyn
I like that you included your "issues" , like the long waits for characters. That is just the reality of Disney. Even with the best plan, be prepared to pivot when needed and don't panic. Planning helps to lower the risk of these problems for sure and it's nice that you show people how to pivot and try a new approach when things go differently than planned. Love your videos!!! I watch them when I'm missing Disney 😊
Love your videos! Quick question for you, can you park hop into Magic Kindom on a party day at 2pm if you have a hopper ticket and reservation at another park?
This is a great question and I don’t have any first hand experience, though I would agree with ceekay’s assessment. It looked like a lot of those folks had been there a while. Thanks for watching! 😃
Thanks so much Rob for a great video!! I love all your tips about looking for characters/snacks for the event within the app! I learn something new all the time from your videos. Are the rides open from 6-7pm? Are the event foods being served from 6-7? I'm a passholder and planning to be in the park for the day before MNSSHP. Trying to decide if I should keep my dinner plans at Steakhouse 71 at 5:30 (after getting my MNSSHP wristband) and come back at 7:00pm when the party starts.
Hi rob if you are already in the park can you grab the wristbands from the main entrance? The rest of the wristband stations seem very far from the front entrance and I would like to line up for the meet and greets early?
Hello! I don’t think so, unfortunately. Probably the closest station is in Tomorrowland near the former Stitch’s Great Escape. That’s our plan when we go back in a few weeks. Thanks for watching! 😃
My family has enjoyed watching your videos and they have helped us plan our trip. Your videos have changed our views on genie plus and have gotten us excited for our upcoming Disney trip arriving September 4th. We have been unsuccessful in solving a problem we have had with guest relations, do you have the contact info for a true problem solver at Disney? We hope to see you when we arrive in Disney 😊
Yes, but I wouldn’t recommend getting there super early. Maybe get Genie and stack some rides from your hotel and make a late start. Otherwise you may be too exhausted to enjoy the full event. If you’re good at napping, maybe go early and plan for a good power nap in between - that could also work. Hope you have a great time! 🎃
Him there we are coming all the way from Australia in mid September do you think we will need Disney plus? Or do you have any tips to get on all the rides without it? Cheer mate
Thanks Rob! Very informative video! Can't wait to be there on the 25th. My daughter wanted to know if we can get a picture with you if we see you at the park.
Hello! Thanks so much for watching and yes, I’m always happy to take pictures with folks I meet in the parks. Hopefully our paths will cross while you are here! 😃
Hey Rob, your ears are always on point. And I wanna thank you for all these videos and advice, helps make my planning easier. I just recently recieved my Tickets for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios for next September, I do have a question. When does Disney usually post tickets for mickeys not so scary Halloween party for Disney World in Florida?
I have been watching the videos and getting ready for my Disney trip. I hope your Paris trip is going well. My trip is Oct 11, with Not so Scary on the 12th. If that's our only day in Magic Kingdom, any hints? We can hop over on the 11th or 13th if necessary. Thanks! Safe Travels!
Hi Jennifer! The good news is that the park will likely be less crowded than normal, so it is a great day to get a lot done in MK. My biggest advice would be to pace yourself since that can be a very long and exhausting day and it would be a shame to not enjoy the party. You’ll have an amazing time however you choose to do it - hope you really enjoy your trip! 😃
Hi Rob! I loved this video! You always mention those special details that I appreciate! How cool was it than you got a map! And I also like your Captain Cooked joke 😂! Did you get mistaken for a skipper/cast member at all? I happen to think you’d be an amazing one! But don’t quit your day job because we need you to give us tips, lol! I’m a little iffy on the costumes for adults. I’d hate to get to the gate and be turned away. My husband and I would like to go as Boba and Fennec Shand (no helmets or weapons). Would they turn us away if we were wearing those slip-over-your-clothes type type costumes (like from the Disney Store or Halloween shops). Or should I stick to printed t-shirts, leggings, pants, etc? Thank you for all the planning, long hours, recon, filming and editing that you do to deliver such helpful content!
They prevent this by checking your wristband. You can’t get the wristband until 4 and you can’t be in line for a Not-So-Scary meet and greet without one. We’re going again in about a month and I plan to try getting my wristband right at 4 and heading straight to Jack and Sally. Thanks for watching! 😃
@@EarScoutsany update on this strategy? I was thinking of double buying tickets and being in the park already to get to the head of jack and Sally. Would love to know if this worked out for you!
You always have the greatest tips! Your Genie+ tips made my last vacation magical. Thank you for your hard work. Are there any upcoming attractions that you're excited about?
Exciting to be over in 2 weeks...eek. Will be great to put your tips into play, we are MNSSHP on that Thursday. Will we be out of place not dressing up? We do have Halloween tees ready...
Been looking forward to this video! Watched it twice. 🙈Lol! We're going to the party the end of September. Your tips have been immensely helpful so far. For the party, can you get regular menu items at the open quick service restaurants? Or only the specialty party options. I ask because my family is vegetarian and none of the savory party items are veggie friendly. 😬 Thanks for all your videos! Love watching them!
Hi Rob, i was so happy to run into you first thing at the gate at animal kingdom this week (bearded guy, we crossed paths a few times during the day). I had so many questions lol but didnt want to interupt your footage!! We went to magic kingdom this past tuesday and we were super bummed to find out the park closed at 6. Same ticket price but kicked out at 6 and no chance to buy tickets to stay later. We did however get all we could out of our lightning lanes and had a great day. We rope dropped, and to be honest i was beat by 5pm anyways. Anyways thank you again for all your content. It really does make a difference, and yes folks, hes a gem. Nicer in person than in the videos he posts if you can believe that. Back to montreal for us.... see you next round!😅😊
Thanks for saying hello! Sorry to hear you got blindsided by the party, but glad you still managed to have a great day. We had a great time at Animal Kingdom. Hoping to get that video up soon. 😃
If your costume is not a full character outfit, you’d probably be fine wearing it all day. Otherwise, maybe plan to change into it a little before 4? I have definitely seen folks in costumes all day, but I’m not sure if they were characters that violate the usual rules. If I remember, I’ll ask at Guest Relations and let you know what they say. Thanks for watching! 😃
Your videos are so great to watch. And your Genie tips are better than anyone's! I was hoping we might run into you when were at the parks Aug 28-Sept 4 but i think you posted on another video thst those are hasically the exact dates you'll be at Disneyland Paris.
Hello! I think it is probably best for kids over 4, but it really depends on the kid. If your little ones are night owls and enjoy the characters and fireworks, probably they would have a great time. If they conk out at 9 and/or are a little scared by character meetings or loud noises like fireworks, probably better to wait until they are a little older. Thanks for watching! 😃
How long is the fireworks show? My wife & I will be going & we're thinking of leaving the show early & trying to meet the seven dwarfs. We think that's the best time to have the shortest wait times
I’m going to try to meet jack and sally first thing but was wondering because I’m gonna be in the park all day, when do the wristband distribution places open???
Rob, your channel has quickly become one if, if not my favorite Disney vlogging channel. Your just great at tips and tricks AND are entertaining. Have you ever done a Disney Cruise. We are planning a 2025 Disney Cruise and would love to watch your take on going on a Disney Cruise! Cheers!
Thanks so much - I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying our videos. 😊 I definitely WANT to do a Disney Cruise, but we decided on Disneyland Paris instead for our big trip this year. Maybe next year, though! Thanks for watching! 😃
We have heard the line to meet Jack and Sally can be hours. We went to Disneyland one week after Halloween and we got to meet Jack and Sally after waiting for like 20 minutes in the middle of the day. They spent almost 2 min talking to our 4 year old tinker bell, which was amazing!
We LOVED meeting Jack and Sally. We went back to Not-So-Scary and started our night there and then we did the same for the Very Merry Christmas Party. You can see that meeting with them in our Very Merry video from this year. Thanks for watching! 😃
Thank you Rob! Loved the costume!! I've been looking forward to going to MNSSHP for years, and we'll finally be there in Sept. I have a question? I heard EPCOT was celebrating the 100 Years of Disney Celebration on September 22nd with a new statue and opening a few new food booths for Food/Wine. Did you hear anything? That's my MNSSHP day, I was going to go there first then hop to MK. Or....spend the morning at the pool resting up for the party. What's your thoughts? 😊
Hi Kimmy! Yes, that will be the day Epcot kicks off some of their 100th anniversary stuff and opens the remaining booths. If you have an annual pass, I’d say it could be worth heading over there in the early afternoon to check out the new additions before the party. If you are using tickets, I would say hold off and enjoy a full day at Epcot the next day and enjoy your resort before the party. Hope you have an amazing time either way!
I like that they use scoops to hand out the candy. Looks like you get a lot that way. Out here in DL, they just use their hands and they can be stingy and only give 1 or 2 candies.
That was new this year. In some cases we got more than last year, but as the night went on, we used to get gobs of candy from some of the CMs. I think the scoop is meant to regulate that. I agree that we tend to get more candy at Not-So-Scary than we did at Oogie Boogie - but y’all get those great characters at the candy stops. 😃
I was waiting for your video. Nothing compares to your way of talking to us. I have some questions and if I may ask: 1. Wait a minute, did you say the hatbox ghost will be there later? Wait what? I will be attending the party on October! 2. What time did go to the front of the castle to watch the Sanderson Sisters ? You had a great view! 3. If I watch the parade from Frontier Land will I see the headless horseman? Love your videos and your vibes ❤
Hello! Thanks so much for your sweet comment. 😊 Disney has not given a definitive date when Hatbox will appear. They started the installation, but no idea when they will finish. I certainly hope he is in there by October, but no one knows. I got my spot about 30 minutes early, but you could have gotten that same spot about 10 minutes before it started and been fine. I was on the castle side of the road that loops around the hub right in the center. You will see the headless horseman from wherever you watch, I just missed him because I accidentally didn’t hit record. 😅🤦♂️
Thanks for your help dear! I just saw it now cause I am not very used to TH-cam notifications! I’m rewatching and liking all your videos! You deserve that and more! Thanks again
@@EarScouts welcome! While I have you did you try to go on Tron? We are just going to party and I’m nervous about the virtual cue selling out and us missing our one chance to ride it.
Is it possible to leave the park early to rest/eat at my hotel and come back the same day on a Not-So-Scary Halloween night without waiting in a huge line to get back in ?
Hello! If you have a regular park ticket, you don’t have to go through that long line to enter. You can enter normally and grab your wristband at one of the dedicated locations inside the park. The closest to the entrance is probably the one in Tomorrowland near where you meet Stitch.
It would be so nice if they had virtual queues for the characters. We’ve missed seeing a lot of them in order not to miss 2-3 hours of the party just standing in line. Not cost effective at all.
So much misinformation. Could not believe this video steered us wrong from rope drop-through parades. Do not follow this guy.....wrong and more wrong. My kids laughed at my lack of correct information and direction. I have never left negative feedback on a video, but I thought this was more than worthy of 4 thumbs-downs.
Hi Brad - I’m so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience using the tips we suggest in our videos. We always work hard to provide the best information. Would you mind sharing some things that you experienced? This kind of feedback really helps improve the advice we give others. Thank you - and again, very sorry our tips were not helpful for you this trip.
@@Nettles1 I wrote this at the park in frustration. I have never looked at it since. The information from this video is very misleading and even wrong on several accounts. I wrote the review for the benefit of others (forgetting that even Disney Lovers can be rude and ungrateful for feedback and help.) In fact, for your information, not that you need to know, but I have 4 kids and all of them are super smart testing in the top 10% in several categories on the national test (one of them is applying to go to Norte Dame.) I have been tested in the genius category and I scored a 34 act graduating from college 3.95 with 2 majors and 3 minors. I can not remember but I may have used voice to text so I could quickly leave the message for others. It is unreal to me that you would insult my kids, insult my intelligence, just to make yourself look/feel smart. I corrected the message so you can sleep easy. Good luck!

@@EarScouts Thanks! I’m sure mine will be one that would normally violate the rules. I’m going as Snow White with my three dwarfs. Lol.
Your videos are so great to watch. And your Genie tips are better than anyone's! I was hoping we might run into you when were at the parks Aug 28-Sept 4 but i think you posted on another video thst those are hasically the exact dates you'll be at Disneyland Paris.
Yes - sadly those are our Paris dates. But we hope you have an amazing vacation! Thanks for making our videos part of your trip planning. 😃
Same here.
I was hoping to run into you Sep 12-14… maybe you guys are already back? :)
Have fun in Disneyland Paris! 😘🗼
We’ve been waiting on this!!!! Love your content! We go in October
Hope you have an amazing time at the party. And hopefully it will be cooler by then. 😅
@@EarScouts🤞🏾
For those only bought a MNSSHP ticket and aren’t AP, what time do you recommend getting in line? 3pm?
Been excited for this ! Thanks Rob and Eric
Thank YOU for watching! 😃
Great video as always! What ages do you think are good for the Halloween party? Thanks for your help!
@@EarScouts Thank you this is very helpful!
They SHOULD open at 4 - but we are going to find out when we go back on the 17th because we are going to try that same plan. 😅 Thanks for watching! 😃
@@EarScouts awesome thank you! Enjoy your next night!!
@EarScouts well that sounds amazing and we look forward to that trip! Cheers!
@EarScouts Thank you guys! Think we'll enjoy the pool and stop by EPCOT Saturday! I REALLY wanna pic with those dwarfs lol ❤️
I'm going to Mickey's Not So Scary on the 22nd and I am also being a Skipper!!
Nice!!! I recommend starting your night at Jungle Cruise - they were VERY excited by the costume choice. 😂 Thanks for watching! 😃
Great video!! Did you happen to find out what time Jack and Sally stopped their Meet & Greet?
Thank you! My guess is that they stopped around 11pm when Seven Dwarfs did, but I’m not sure. Thanks for watching! 😃
Going on Sept 15th! Will be our second year, after last year! Can’t wait, thanks for the video 😊
Thanks for watching - hope you have a great time at the party this year! 🎃
You have a great voice. Will you update the video with the 2024 version?
You’d make a great skipper! I hope you get to become one some day!
New here! literary just watched your video. Is this Disneyland or Disney world? 🤔
Hello and welcome! This is at Disney World in Orlando. Thanks for watching! 😃
It’s obviously Orlando!
I was waiting for your video. Nothing compares to your way of talking to us.
I have some questions and if I may ask:
Congratulations for your videos! On Halloween nights, can we also buy Genie +?
It doesn’t work once the after hours starts
@@mattstorace9985 What time is After Hour? At 7pm?
@@camilamainetti1 6pm
Exactly - thanks for the help answering that one, Matt!
@@EarScouts welcome! While I have you did you try to go on Tron? We are just going to party and I’m nervous about the virtual cue selling out and us missing our one chance to ride it.
Will you be doing a video for 2024's party?!
Does the headless horseman come out at both parades ?
Hello! Yes, unless there is rain. The horse can’t come out if the ground is slippery. Thanks for watching! 😃
@@EarScouts your awesome
you as an american: this candy is easy to be found, me as a brasilian: OMG I must have this coffee MM 😂😂😂
I would love to see your strategy on seeing Jack and Sally right at 4
We’re going again in about a month and I’m planning to try out going straight there. We may make a short about it. Thanks for the suggestion! 👍
OMG i was there tooo sad i didn't see you:(
I have been stalking your page waiting for this post!! Preparing for our first party Sept 24th ❤
So exciting! I hope you have a great time. 🎃
It would be so nice if they had virtual queues for the characters. We’ve missed seeing a lot of them in order not to miss 2-3 hours of the party just standing in line. Not cost effective at all.
I agree, that would be a nice feature. That’s why I didn’t meet any characters in this video. Thanks for watching! 😃
❤
Thanks for the selfie I’m the person near the Frontierland trading post the child
It was a great party but back home in England now
It’s always fun meeting folks in the park - thank you for saying hello! Glad to hear you had a great time at the party. 🎃
Let us know when you can quit your day job and live your true life calling full -time!
3 hour wait for jack and sally? Hard pass. Not even a good movie anyways.
I like Nightmare Before Christmas, but I definitely wouldn’t spend 3 hours at a hard ticket event in line for any character meet & greet.
Brad I bet your kids don't take any advanced classes at school
Good luck!
