every piece of work is the product of it's own time. artists must be in synch with their times to produce great pieces of work... i totally agree with that idea. I don't think you overstated it... charlie kauffman is one of my favorite directors, nowadays. And I think he has the sensibility to translate the reality of our lives, like few others.
