I got a cuisinart brerad machine one month ago because i saw you using it.... what a blessing now im making my own bread. i made a lasagna for Easter lunch and set up a beautiful table, we watched the service online and spend the rest of the day doing some little projects around the house.
Wonderful Lisa! I'm so glad that you have your bread machine. I know you will love it - especially now. It sounds like you had a wonderful Easter - that is pretty much how we spent ours. Take care and God bless! 💚😊💚
I enjoy cleaning and appreciate a clean and tidy home. That being said you have given me many helpful tips. I identify with your values. Thank you very much for your channel.
Listened to Franklin Graham Sunday morning on TV since our church is closed due to the virus. Ate leftover spaghetti with meat sauce which was easy for me and my husband. It was a relaxing day.
My husband is a Pastor. We have pastored in Norfolk, VA for 33 years come September. We are having to do online services. So we led our congregation in Communion via livestream from Norfolk Apostolic Church. They each gathered their communion supplies at home and we took communion at the end of Pastor Blankenship’s message.
Happy Easter Robin! He is risen! We watched church online too. We stayed home just the two of us. I went to the grocery store a few weeks ago to stock up and they had bone in turkey breast on sale so we cooked that on Easter. I set a special table, made dinner rolls in the bread machine and we had some wine. It snowed 10 inches here in the mountains of Colorado so it looked more like Christmas than Easter. Stay safe and healthy!
Hi Robin!!For all christian othodox people, today is Good Monday and this week is full of Easter cooking!!Baking Easter cookies and Easter sweet bread, dying red eggs etc.So our kitchens are a "cooking fever"!!!Have a productive great week!!!🐑🐣💝🌻
Hi Robin - Great video. I’m so interested in what others are doing during this time. Easter was wonderful because....He is Risen! I got up as if I was going to church and got completely ready (hair, makeup, the works). Then my two daughters and their families joined me for online services at their homes. They called it going to church with Mamaw (me). We talked about the sermon afterwards and it was so sweet. The bad news is our pastor is extremely sick and was tested for the coronavirus but won’t have the results till this Wednesday. Now this morning, my daughter that lives here in town has a fever and has a call into her doctor. Her husband was told to stay home from work until her situation is “resolved”. She is quarantining in her bedroom until she knows what’s going on. Our local newspaper says the curve is just beginning in our county. My daughter has underlying health concerns so please pray for her and my pastor too. I’m still totally isolated here and have good days and bad. I am sure many others are experiencing the same thing. I’m still gaining weight like crazy and can’t seem to get a grip on it. Thank you Robin for continuing to film. It helps us so much. Love in Christ to you sweet friend.
It sounds like you had a wonderful Easter Donna! I am so sorry to hear about your daughter and Pastor. I will definitely pray for them both. I'm so glad that your faith is strong and that you know the power of prayer. I understand how easy it is to put on weight right now. All of this baking is great, but I will have to watch it! Take care and God bless. Sending big hugs! 💚😊💚
Oh this video made my day. I can certainly see that you are gifted and are living a blessed life. Beautiful family and great job on the bread and mask...
Thank you for the video! It was a perfect way to start my day. 💛 I love making sourdough bread and would love to see what you are doing! Also, yesterday I got the kids dressed as if we were going to church so we weren’t in our pj’s all day! Later in the day they hid eggs in the house then FaceTimed their grandparents and had their grandparents find the eggs as they walked around with the ipad. It was super cute and i think they had a lot of fun and a creative way to include our family in our social distancing Easter! ✝️
Like you we have been going to church at home since this started. However Friday we decided to dress up for church just like we would if we were going out the door. Being Easter we also had a special Easter dinner, I got out the china and crystal and special linens just as though the whole family were coming. We even had wine. It was lovely, we got to talk with our children and grandchildren with FaceTime. It brought Easter celebration to us all. Because of that experience we have decided to repeat it each Sunday. No more " going to Church" in our pj's. This isolation has taught us many lessons!
Thank you Shannon! I hopped on the sourdough bandwagon with you! If this keeps up I will not fit into my clothes! 😂Hope you, Grant and the boys are doing well! 💛🤗💛
Hi Robin, a belated happy Easter to you all. The Archbishop of Canterbury held a televised service on Sunday from his kitchen! As he was going to come to our church on Palm Sunday which was obviously cancelled ( we in the choir had been practising the anthems until lockdown)this kind of made up for it!. We were able to have hot cross buns on Good Friday and roast lamb Easter Sunday, a tradition. Luckily I had bought the lamb joint awhile ago and put it in the freezer. As an alternative to sourdough you can make Irish soda bread , just need bicarbonate of soda and buttermilk or ordinary milk very quick and easy. Recipes can be found online.
Thank you Sally! That sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate Easter! I am a big fan of Irish Soda bread, but unfortunately my family is not. 😄 That is certainly a great alternative to yeast bread! I hope you are having a good start to your week! God bless! 🧡😊🧡
We had a wonderful Easter! We coordinated our meal for the same time with our son and his wife via Facebook video! We each ate our feast and had a great time of fellowship!
I LOVE my sourdough starter! I started it about 5 years ago and use it to make all sorts of yummy things for my family. Our favorites are tortillas, biscuits, pizza crust, English muffins and cornbread. I've even make chocolate cake! Thanks for sharing a peak into your day, Robin. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it!
Thank you for your video. You always brighten my day. I looked yesterday for your Sunday video, happy to see this today and know you are all well. Just last night I was searching online for a basic but good quality sewing machine. Any input you have would be appreciated because I know when you make a purchase you give it a lot of thought. Have a blessed week
Thank you Pat! I don't do very much sewing anymore. My machine was a gift from my parents in the first year or so of my marriage, so I'm not very informed about what is out there now. It is a Singer and has held up very well all these years, so I can attest to it's reliability and longevity! 💚😊💚
I've been making bread for almost 50 years, so I am delighted others are getting back into using this skill. And I love your re-use of the N95 mask. My husband had a new one in his workshop which I use to go to the grocery store and hang on the rear view mirror when I get home.
Hi Evelyn! I used to make bread all the time too. I got away from it when we found out one of our sons needed to go gluten free. I’m all stocked up on his baked goods and am enjoying getting back into more baking for the three of us that can enjoy it. I’m glad you have a mask to use - I think it’s a good idea! 🧡😊🧡
I would love to see your sourdough starter process. I, too, had a starter many years ago but didn't know much about using it. Your bread looked delicious. I liked seeing your son assemble his desk chair. Good life skills!
Thanks Belynda! I am having a great time with the sourdough baking. I am working on the video and will have it up for you soon. Kyle is getting his degree in Mechanical Engineering, so he is always happy to do any sort of project and is enjoying his new chair. 🧡😊🧡
Can you make starter from any other type of flour, we are totally grain free. Loved your video.. I love how you give yourself stress-free time! God Bless you and your family!
Hi Robin. I hope you all are doing well. I wish I enjoyed cooking and baking. You make it look so good. How about sending me a slice of that delicious looking bread. Lol
Hi Robin, I enjoy your channel along with all your cleaning tips. I have a question as I need help in this area. What suggestions do you have for maintaining a clean and tidy refrigerator? Thank you ahead of time.😊
Hello Robin 😊 we are decorating and doing the garden whilst self isolating and doing the for ever to do list 😊 Our house is a little more untidy than usual but hey that is such little problem with people in the U.K. being so poorly with virus. My only wish when this is over that all those that we know and love are safe and well I’m sure you are wishing the same. We can pray where ever we are so I’m praying for good health for everyone. Please can we see a little more of Austin, he has such a sweet face 😊 Take care and I look forward to your next video 😊❤️🇬🇧
I agree Alisha! I am so grateful - even for the untidiness, because it means that my family is safe at home. Prayer is powerful and it's good to hear that you are putting your trust in that. I will try to get Austin in a video soon. His appearance has been highly requested! Take care and God bless! 💚😊💚
Would love to see a video about the sour dough starter, about 10 years we visited Jackson Hole Wyoming and I bought some sour dough starter, but unfortunately did not keep it up and as luck would have it, it “died”.
Hi Robin. Another great video to start the week with some inspiration. I hope you had a beautiful Easter. We're observing the holiday of Passover, so no bread-baking here for another few days, but it's been fun experimenting with baking using things like quinoa and almond flour. Looking forward to trying the sourdough starter. Have a wonderful week!
Thank you Lisa! I hope that you have a wonderful Passover celebration. I will have the sourdough video out soon - just in time for you to start baking again. 💚😊💚
Hello ,great video!I was making frozen bread a few wks before stay in( granddaughters love),my husband bought 2 bags on first grocery trip it has been wonderful, plus he gave me a great tip:use an electric knife, best thing since sliced bread lol! Question what is a good cooking oil ? Mine seems to stink too much I use olive oil, cast iron skillet use the fan cleaned the vents like you ugh! Any ideas? Thank you😊
Thanks for sharing, from your Q &A video, I would like meal planning, and the financial planning, as well your sour dough segment , all theses you mentioned doing in future segments.
Hi Sandra! I will have the sourdough video out very soon. I did a video following my Q&A discussing both meal planning and financial planning. Here is the link to watch: th-cam.com/video/hmUvwbicd5I/w-d-xo.html 💚😊💚
Hi there! New Friend Here! I don't know how I landed here, but loving your videos and personality! Our family was just limited to immediate family, but we had a great time and made the most of it! Loved the recipes and your vids are so relaxing! I look forward to seeing more of your videos! That bread looks delish! Great Mask! As a Nurse I'm glad to see people using precautions! TFS! Many Blessings! 🐇🏡🌼🌻🌴🌞💕💎
Thank you and welcome! It sounds like you had a wonderful Easter. I hope that if you are currently working that you are able to stay safe. I am praying for everyone in the healthcare industry during this time. Thanks for all that you do - nurses are true heroes! 💚😊💚
@@FaithandFlour Awe thanks so very much! I'm not currently working, but have been called back in, so I'm thinking about it, lol. Thanks for such a sweet comment! It's the best rewards to this career to get comments like these! Many Blessings! 🐇🏡🌼🌻🌴🌞💕💎
My husband works for the transit system in Florida so he had to work on Easter so it was just me. But I got a lot of stuff done that I needed to get done around the house.😍
I'm sorry that you were alone Debbie, and that your husband needed to work. It sounds like you made the best of the situation. Please thank your husband for me for his willingness to be out there keeping things going in these tough times!💚😊💚
For Holy Thursday and Good Friday services, our Pastor and Associate Pastor made TH-cam videos of spiritual reflections for parishioners to watch at home. On Easter Sunday, we watched a Mass on TV which was taped by our Archdiocese. However, nothing compares to the real thing!
We did something similar Linda. It was very special, but not quite the same. I’m so grateful for the technology that makes gathering virtually possible! Take care and God bless! 🧡😊🧡
Thank you Noemi! I just made my first batch of sourdough English muffins and they were yummy! I need to figure out how to do this gluten free for Payton. I bet you’re a good source! 🧡🤗🧡
Robin--I started with sourdough two weeks ago too!! Had to start over but found flour and yeast finally so I have challenged myself to tackle my nemisis!! Yeast!! Best loaf in the kitchen today!! Bless you and thanks from Montana!!
Hey Robin,Would love your video on sour dough starter. Also, could you tell me where your measuring cups are from? I need new ones and I really like yours.Thank you
Great Deb! I am working on that video and will have it up for you soon. My measuring cups were a gift, so I am not sure where they came from. I will try to see if I can find similar ones and add them to my Amazon Store. Take care and God bless! 💚😊💚
Good morning, I have been thinking about a a sourdough starter. Watch the Elliot Homestead, she has a (dry) starter that came from France, it seems to be a great idea for those of us that would have a hard time making so much, anyway it was interesting. I was sad to miss Sunrise service, but took my phone and walked out into the field and played He Lives (up from the grave he arose) on full volume and was THANKFUL. Robin may Easter Blessings follow you and your always. Xo
That sounds like a wonderful way to observe Easter! I too am so Thankful and find peace in Trusting God during this scary time. I saw the video on Elliot Homestead on the dry sourdough starter. It looks like a great method. I started mine before I saw that, but I may give that a try at some point. I just made some English muffins and they were so good! Take care and God bless! 💚😊💚
I enjoy these videos so much ! Thanks for showing us your daily life. By the way, I just started watching and listening to the sermons from your Bible church. The preachers are truly men of God! I would love to see bible studies on your channel !
Do you have any gluten free bread recipes for your bread? I do have a bread maker but I baught it before I knew that I had celiac sprue disease. Thanks❤
Hi Mary! Our son also has celiac disease, but I have yet to find a really good homemade bread recipe. My son likes me to buy bread from either Trader Joe's or Udi's brand. He also likes the Schar brand for pizza crust and a few other things. I have a cookbook that I use for making some baked goods that I like. You can find it in the Gluten Free section of my Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/faithandflour 💚😊💚
@@FaithandFlour I want to thank you for your great ideas. I will have to check them out I also have an intolerance to potatoes and a lot of gluten free products have potato starch. I am reading and rereading the ingredients because those Ingredients can change. Again I say Thank you!❤
I'm enjoying this time with my daughter and hubby, usually I don't see them until afternoon (school and work). It will be so empty in the apartment when it all backs to "normal". This seems more normal to me, as silly as it sounds. Omg, I've started with sourdough starter last year (only with whole wheat f.) and we have best bread ever. Try to make pizza with it, it's much better! ❤️🍀
I know what you mean Tijana! I am going to miss having my family around all of the time too. I am loving the sourdough baking! I made my starter with whole wheat as well and just made the most amazing English muffins. I made some pizza dough too that we will have tonight. Can't wait! Take care and God bless! 💚😊💚
Hi Robin.. Enjoyed the video and learned something new like always👍🏻👍🏻.. You deserve thousands of thumbs up for the videos you make...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our home is the opposite.... It is cleaner now..... Since we have nothing else to do every body is pitching in and cleaning. ,:-) but I miss my life... Wish this pandemic would end and we can all get back to our lives....
I need to slow down on the baking front or I'm not going to be able to fit in any of my clothes 😂 but it's such a fun activity to do with my children. Your bread looks amazing 🍞😍 Thank you for sharing 💖
Why have you been using the over the sink mat for your drying mat on the counter. Doesn't it puddle on the counter without the absorbency of the other one you used to use? I have been watching your videos for a few weeks now. I enjoy them so much! I like that your music is instrumental! My ears get tired listening to words on other gals videos. Keep 'em coming!
Thank you Virginia! I switched to the dish drying rack/mat because our countertop is very porous and the cloth mat I was using didn’t allow the stone to dry properly. Our counters are made of limestone - pretty, but not that functional. 😂 I didn’t choose it and wouldn’t recommend it. Hope you are having a good start to your week. 🧡😊😄
I'm so sorry Rachel! We have the same problem here - I got lucky in Whole Foods. The one time I went inside, it was just after they opened and they were restocking the shelves. I hope that your store shelves are replenished soon! 💚😊💚
Não sou boa em massas para pães, mas peguei uma receita "fácil" fiz meus pedidos de ingredientes online no supermercado e breve chegará. Nós aqui também estamos customizando nossas máscaras caseiras 😷💟🎀💕

@@FaithandFlour Thank you, Robin. Same to you and your family.
That bread looks so good Robin! 😊😋💕
Thank you Noemi! I just made my first batch of sourdough English muffins and they were yummy! I need to figure out how to do this gluten free for Payton. I bet you’re a good source!
🧡🤗🧡
Hi Robyn I have followed younger years. him wondering if you mind sharing where your beautiful tea towels are from. thank you .. Yvette

Thank you Terri - coming very soon! 💚😊💚
You’re the best, Robin! 😃
Robin--I started with sourdough two weeks ago too!! Had to start over but found flour and yeast finally so I have challenged myself to tackle my nemisis!! Yeast!! Best loaf in the kitchen today!! Bless you and thanks from Montana!!
Great Janene! Enjoy your loaf! I will have a video out very soon about my experience with sourdough. There are loads of requests! 💚😊💚
God bless you
Yes! Please make a video of the sourdough process.
Working on it right now! It’s been fun and delicious! 🧡😊🧡
Will be waiting for more detail about Sourdough starter..👍🏻
I am working on that video and will have it up for you soon! 💛😊💛
Count me in for the sourdough bread starter! I enjoyed this!
Great Donna! I will be getting that out to you soon!💚😊💚
I enjoy these videos so much ! Thanks for showing us your daily life.
By the way, I just started watching and listening to the sermons from your Bible church. The preachers are truly men of God!
I would love to see bible studies on your channel !
Thank you Mary! I’m glad you are watching the sermons. We are blessed to have access to such godly men. Take care and God bless! 🧡😊🧡
I would love to learn more about the sour dough!
Hi Candy! I will have that video out soon! 🧡😊🧡
I would like to see how you made your sourdough starter. Thanks
Great Tammy! I am working on it and will have it up for you soon!
💚😊💚
Your bread looks wonderful, I wish I hadn’t gotten rid of my bread maker years ago😩
So sorry Kathryn! I am planning a new video about bread baking with a sourdough starter - no bread machine required. 💚😊💚
I also got rid of my bread machine it was so bulky but would enjoy Having that back right about now for sure
I feel like all I’m doing is cleaning and cooking!!!
Right there with you! 😂😊💚
You can find it in the Gluten Free section of my Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/faithandflour
💚😊💚
Would Love to see the sour dough video.
Great Jeannie! I will have it out for you soon!💚😊💚

Our home is the opposite.... It is cleaner now..... Since we have nothing else to do every body is pitching in and cleaning. ,:-) but I miss my life... Wish this pandemic would end and we can all get back to our lives....
That recipe looks so delicious 🤤
Thank you Steph! 💚😊💚
Do you have recipe for the bread?
HI Lynate! You can find the link to the bread recipe in the video description box. 💚😊💚
Good job👏😆😷.
Over here in Singapore 🇸🇬 we have to wear 😷.
In buses and trains and to shop for groceries.
Keep a distance too.
Wear 😷 is to protect.
I think that is a very good idea Choo Lee! Take care and God bless! 💚😊💚
Over here is compulsory to wear 😷🇸🇬
It is now required here too. 😷
I like your vídeos, excelent.👏😘🇧🇷😘
Thank you Laudiceia! 🧡😊🧡
I need to slow down on the baking front or I'm not going to be able to fit in any of my clothes 😂 but it's such a fun activity to do with my children.
Your bread looks amazing 🍞😍
Thank you for sharing 💖
I know what you mean Tina! I am trying to be careful, but it isn't easy! 💚😊💚
🧡😊😄
In our supermarket there’s no flour, no sugar, no eggs (or very limited), it’s very frustrating.
I'm so sorry Rachel! We have the same problem here - I got lucky in Whole Foods. The one time I went inside, it was just after they opened and they were restocking the shelves. I hope that your store shelves are replenished soon! 💚😊💚
👆🙏NICE MASK 😷 👍AND THE BREAD 🍞 YUMMY 😋
Não sou boa em massas para pães, mas peguei uma receita "fácil" fiz meus pedidos de ingredientes online no supermercado e breve chegará. Nós aqui também estamos customizando nossas máscaras caseiras 😷💟🎀💕
Grande Juliana! Espero que você se divirta assando! Fique seguro!

Freat kitchen and wonderful apron.
Thank you Michelle! 💚😊💚

Thank you Debbie! 💚😊💚
Hi are you making own masks? 😷
Yes I am!💚😊💚

Initially I was not so used to but now I am ok to wear 3 ply surgical masks.
You did a good job.
Sewed Mask Covers.
Every few days wash the Masks covers👏😆.
