    We have a F3060 mower, came with a 72" deck but we put a 60" deck on it!! I absolutely love it!!! Hardly had any problems with it all the years we've had it!! We use it for mowing 4-8" tall grass in our trellis high density orchard blocks and it works amazing!!! Well built machine!!!

    Thanks so much for the details of your F mower. I have the 3680 after owning a few different zero turns, last one being the Kubota 26 hp which was a very good machine. But after owning the F3680 now, I do not foresee making any mower changes again. This machine should outlast me. And with proper care, they will run for years. I have heard maybe up to the 10,000 hour mark. I will never see that nor have a need to cut that much grass. Thanks again.

      thank you Greg. I'm glad you liked the video. I have a few more Kubota videos and I'm not afraid to say I am a big fan of Kubota tractors. I have used these machines to make a living. They have been very reliable. Yes I know of a few cases of 10000 hours on an F series. I don't think it's that common. I have one with over 5000 and a L series with over 3000. take care

      Must be the linkage from the lever to the hydrolic control.

      It really is a good machine. It will do whatever work you though at it and go and go go. Very fuel efficient.

    Thanks for showing the details of this nice machine, would love to have one, but it's probably an overkill for my half acre garden ... So i am going stick with my little 30 year old Westwood diesel, would never want a Petrol mower, they just too poor on fuel.
    Don't know kubota mowers but do know kubota engines quite a bit. A bit of TLC and they last forever.

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      They do last, I have one 30 years old and it has 5000 hours on it. It still runs like when I bought it.

      kubotas are the only one thats easy to service on wich nice i done kubota zds, m series tractors and it is real easy to access into wich john deere and new holland is a big major night mirror have to pretty well tear the whole deere and newholland apart to service it wich more time wich why love kubota

      i know kubota engines there made to last plus kubota engines are desent price at affordable price john deere and other brand mowers they dont last long wich i seen they break down at 1year old but kubotas they built last plus you can put kubota engines into 100% of every thing plus hp kubota engines are from 9.6hp up to 171hp wich nice

    I just got one of these without a manual. Is there a fuse box anywhere on it? I can only spot a block of three fuses on the right side frame. Also, do you know if there is a key switch timer or relay in between the ignition key switch and fuel stop solenoid? Is the key switch wired directly to the fule stop solenoid? Any help would be much appreciated.

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You found the only fuse box. The main power wire to the battery has a large fuse it could be 30 amps or more. Not sure of the rest. The wiring on this machine is fairly simple. This is one of the best f series tractors made by Kubota. You should have good luck with it. Make sure you keep the rad clean and all the filters. They last a lifetime. Thanks for watching, commenting.

    I have a 15 year old F3060 with a side discharge 72 inch deck that I really like. I’ve always used the OEM low lift blades. I try to keep the deck reasonably clean but when cutting damp or slightly thick grass it sends the grass out a little clumpy. I’ve been thinking of trying to find some notched high lift blades to try. Have you found any blades that work better than the OEM ones?

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi William. I buy Gator Blades for all my machines. The last time I checked the mulching blades for72 inch decks are not available. I dont think they make them. I could be wrong but they work very well on our 60 inch mowers. I would leave them on all year if I didn't have the other blades. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      That tractor is designed to always be part time 4WD and locked in full 4WD when the lever is forward. I would check your linkage under the seat. Then jack up the machine and try moving the wheels forward to see if the back wheels move. I always call the dealer ,a shop mechanic may have some idea of where to look. I have never had this kind of trouble. Good luck, thanks for watching

    I just bought 2002 F3560. Regarding filters you use OEM only or you buy like Donsaldson ?type filters? I noticed air filters really expensive, how often you change them?

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Up to now I have bought Kubota filters. I find the prices have gone way up so I might try getting something else. Donaldson probably make something to fit. You have 35 horse power and a nice machine. Good luck with it. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    What size trailer do you use to haul it ?

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 72 inch deck will only fit in my biggest trailer. Its 101 inches wide, between the fenders its 80 or so inches. This tractor has a 60 inch deck and it fits in almost any trailer. You need around 9 feet six inches long and keep in mind it weighs over 2000lbs

    I have one of these and I cant get the pto lever to move so I cant turn it on it's stiff

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't heard of this. I have three F3060's and the pto always works fine. I will look closely at one. Maybe you have some corrosion on the pivot point?

    Have you ever had to replace the starter ?

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Philip. I own eight kubota tractors and they all have the original starter. Only two have ever had the alternator rebuilt. One has over 5000 hours and it's all original. Thanks for subscribing and commenting.

      If you are trouble shooting your own machine, look for bad wires. Often a rotten positive wire will affect the starter or a bad ground. Good luck

    how much wejght can it lift?

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The front lift can handle 400 pounds I think. The 72 inch mower weighs about 250 pounds alone.

    • @JourneymanRandy
      @JourneymanRandy  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correction the 72 mower deck weighs 408 lbs. It can lift much more
