I have a few pieces of golden healer, I’m very drawn to it. However, I really didn’t know what to look for that makes it a quality piece. It’s very clear by looking at yours...that wand! Thanks for the info and inspiration. I’ll be putting mine to work instead of just enjoying it in it’s space.

Do you have any thoughts or experiences with Harlequin quartz (another type of hematoid quartz)? I've been attracted to them so much.
I do have a question about golden healer quartz I hope you don't mind my asking. I was looking for another golden healer to add to my collection and I see the sellers sometimes say it is hematite in the quartz and other sellers say it's iron oxide. Is there a difference between the two or are they the same thing and the same healing energy. Thanks so much for your videos.
There is a difference depending on which mineral is the inclusion within the quartz. Golden healer is generally accepted as quartz with trace amounts of iron. Hematite in quartz is usually quite a bright red and sometimes called fire quartz. The best quality used for jewellery and specimens etc the hematite is like red flakes, almost like glitter suspended in the quartz but it can be red and whispy through the entire quartz looking like a red version of golden healer. To confuse things more they all get lumped into the title of hematoid quartz by some sellers too!! Colour and the inclusions formation in the crystal can help you identify which mineral in many cases. They have some similar properties but some very different energies too.
