On the form for box 6 it says to enter 10,528 if supporting an eligible dependent. My dependent is 14 and doesn't work. I am confused as to why I can put 11, 581.
Question, I am employed and have a partner in common law, he is studying and working part time. So besides the brakets calculation for reduction if he makes less than 10k, in the income piece should i treat the full total from our joint income, or it has to be each filing tax? He does not have enough income so i think his employer is not filing taxes for him. Not sure how is being done for couples …
is it fine to just have the basic personal amount filled in and the rest blank if the rest of the options dont apply to me like for example i dont have a pension plan, spouse or child so would i leave those sections blank or enter 0?
if I wanted to have my workplace take more off during the year to insure a tax refund at the end of the year, but none of the boxes really apply to me, where and what should I do?
Your videos are SO helpful. Thank you! Our accounting prof at George Brown College recommends we watch them :)

Thanks for the information. but I have a question. A person who lives in Ontario has to fill out the 2 forms, the personal TD1 and the Ontario TD1?
That is correct

I would enter a 0 so it is clear that you considered each section.
