    Hi Niamh 🙂
I'm so glad that you found your dog again. I love watching 'top of the stairs' ASMR videos. 🤣
I'm glad that you are taking an interest in the political situation at the moment even if we are on opposite sides when it comes to the next Election. I do have to say that the current inflation rate has nothing to do with Brexit, after all inflation is a lot higher across the EU and the US than it is here. You are right though; every day something goes up in the local shop 🤬.
I really enjoy your style of video. So engaging. I don't watch Love Island but I have been watching Wimbledon 🎾 and the women's football tournament. Come on England.
    How are you doing?

Inflation is higher in the U.K. that the US or Germany and significantly higher than France. Of course a massive supply side shock like Brexit on top of the others will be driving that. It’s simply wrong to say Brexit and the last twelve years of appalling economic policy that have strangled our economy aren’t significant drivers of our current economic crisis and black hole. This is on top of huge borrowing and interest repayments. The economy has been mismanaged and the lies told to win the referendum have only made things worse.

@@zappybazinga8124 What lies? Remain told the lies. The US isn't in the European Union and still has chronic inflation. As for the UK, we had virtually zero inflation a little while ago. What's the alternative? Captain Hindsight and his shockingly bad policies. 😱 Look at him today. Attacking tax cut suggestions because his own economic plans are made on the back of an envelope. A poor leader always blames everybody else. The people democratically voted to Leave.

@@alangiles776 The lie that you can create a huge economic supply side shock without consequence in an economy that relies heavily on imports. You only need speak to those who run the large supermarkets to understand the very basics of how our economy works and how it is currently not working. We have an economy in its worst position since ww2 and the post ww2 period it’s not all about Brexit but is about the dreadful mismanagement over the last twelve years. The alternative is of course to stop treating the economy like some sort of machine to drive popularity and sloganism and actually take measured steps to encourage growth and slowly reduce the deficit which is enormous. Anyone promising unfounded tax cuts in the current environment is just not suitable.

@@zappybazinga8124 You do make some fair points. Tax cuts would help but they have to be costed and FAIR. We do need a large redistribution of wealth from rich to poor and from South to the North. 20% is too high though and Corporation tax could be reduced.

@@alangiles776 The problem is that the majority of wealth in this country sits within a very small group of people who are not actually contributing economically. Property tycoons, investors, market speculators. And most of these people aren’t even paying the basic rate of income tax as their money isn’t classed as income. Further they donate to the Tory party for favourable policy influence. Until we deal with that we can’t address anything. And the Tory party are incapable of dealing with it as they are their pay masters. It’s why we need a political change and desperately so. And why I am glad Labour have a more credible leader these days because the country needs change.
