Even in entirely winnable games where you pop off, you're still at the mercy of one person blowing their top off cause they died once. I think there was one time I reinstalled LoL and after just one NORMALS game, I was like, yea, this is why I left. People weren't even being toxic towards me (they were to each other and in general griefing), but even when the stakes are literally 0, you can still find people trolling, griefing or just in general being crappy humans.
In an alternate timeline where streamers like Pekin were more popular than your T1's, I do wonder what this community would've looked like. I can't help but feel all the ways people grief in this game is just learned behavior. When I used to play football (soccer), I can't imagine playing a losing game and deciding to just, stand at the side of the field or just cursing people out mid game or just scoring own goals. You'd get booted outta the game so fast and actually get benched for probably an entire season or something. In online competitive spaces though, it's just - well, sadly an unsolvable problem. Whatever normal moral compass keeps you in check irl just goes out the window.
PS: I know the problem is more complex because simply, they can't enforce their rules evenly and fairly like you would actual sports irl, because there's simply no way for a human to keep track of these things thus requiring these pretty wonky algorithms that sometimes just don't work etc etc. Sad nonetheless though.

I wonder how Lillia changes with the new items, being able to go both liandries and riftmaker sounds interesting, cosmic drive giving HP again seems nice too, and I can see Malignance being a good mana item if it procs when she hits someone after sleeping them

Last I checked she is super good in jg with Liandries into riftmaker cuz junglers get bonus mana Regen. I think lane lillia might be dead unless you go roa, doubt malignance is good on her or if it even works. I'd have to test in practice tool
@@palomito7257 yeah, overall mage item changes are pretty good, but Liandries losing it's mana components was a big L.
I have played a couple games Liandry's into Riftmaker in jungle and it's felt great. Omega healing from the omnivamp. You can also build pure tank after those two and still do insane damage since Liandry's passive doesn't scale with AP anymore it is just a flat 2%. Enemy team was full AD so I went Steel Caps, Frozen Heart (which also helps out with mana), and Dead Man's Plate and still won that game with highest damage while being unkillable between the armor and constant healing.

Hey Pekin I came up with a build idea you could feature in one of your future videos! Im a 1m Mastery Zoe one trick and I recommend you to try building Stormsurge into Rocket belt on Zoe. Go ingenious hunter in the runes and get manaflowbands to have enough mana since you are not building Ludens. The build is insane because it synergize so well with ingenious hunter and Rocketbelt has very similar stats to Ludens while being 500 less gold.

@@3339ty it is a 2 vs 2 fighting game but there will be different ways to play. Duo Play is the planned mode for a player to control one of the two characters on a team instead of controlling the entire team. That is probably where you’ll still get players blaming others for their own shortcomings.

im a viktor otp and he legit feels so ass compared to last patch. Facing fizz or kassadin or akali or evelynn or etc every game just feels so horrible. Control mages in general feel pretty weak imo but viktor in particular feels really bad because all of his durability from last patch is gone and his damage doesnt hold up against other mages until like 4 items where champs like syndra one shot you with R at 2 items.
Yeah I'd probably just archangels lichbane for survival plus consistent damage. Mage items are weird rn
