Choppers from sweden in the 80s

Greetings from Germany! In 1980 i was 18 years old. We had Holidays in sweden for several times through the years. I will never Forget the first Encounter with a swedish chopper in Stockholm. My eyes fellt out of my head. From then on, - this was the only way to call a bike a chopper. But here in Germany? No way... But... i am driving bike since then until now. But never had a chopper. Too slow for the Autobahn ;-DThanks for the Pictures! Made me 18 again!

Great, thanks for the story, Chopper too slow ? no,, you just need a stroker haha ;o) but then again why the rush, building and riding choppers are great stress relievers just like cooking slow food, reading a good book, do that and avoiding stressful mainstream media news and life will be much more enjoyable :)

Great pictures, I used to ride to the Stompers MC and Choppers MC parties from England during the Eighties on a hardtail Triumph ""Flinta"" .They were great holidays! Even recognised Baby Face Bjorn of the Gjutjarn MC chatting to one of the Stompers in one of the pics! Thanks for the memories. Nod UFOS MCC England
