I was so sceptical about whether to watch this movie or not once it releases. I don't want it to be just a plain verbatim remake of Forrest Gump and I just know, no matter how much this film happens to be a bang-on, it can never replace my love and respect for Forrest Gump. And maybe that's exactly why I feel much more obligated to watch this movie now; to really see if it can capture the heart and soul that Forrest Gump prizes itself with, and also at the same time, if Laal Singh Chaddha can also be something of a beautiful journey in its own way. I really want it to respect the legacy of FG; yet, instead of being in a competitive stage with FG, I expect it to be a movie that everybody mentions every time FG is mentioned, like, " Hey you watched FG? You should watch it and also this remake LSC, which is a beautiful complement to FG."

Actually if you love FG you should watch this movie even more, because at the end of the day FG is about a man and his country. The country’s story moves with forrest. So to watch that concept come to life with india and indian events would be absolutely joyful
