I love watching you take such care and attention packing up your beautiful artwork Miriam. It is indeed bittersweet to let go of a piece that you have invested so much time and effort into, but as you say, when it goes to someone who will really appreciate the work it makes it a little easier. Hello Miriam. After a hard day, it was so relaxing and beautiful to see you packaging and preparing your clients' purchases. You cannot imagine how much I wish I could see myself doing the same. I have tried to sell my paper jewelry and framed personalized work by any means, but it has been extremely hard. Sadly, people in Mexico do not appreciate art and all the time and effort put into it. Dear Isabel, I'm very happy that you enjoyed watching the video! 😊 But please know that it's not always been this way for me. For a number of years I tried my best to work on doing art and progress in my work. In my country too, art is not as valued as in other countries. But there were few people here and there who would encourage me by purchasing my work (and of course, my family too first of all). Opening my Etsy shop a couple of years ago has made it better because it has given my art the chance to be seen in other parts of the world. So, I encourage you to not give up, sometimes things can happen gradually - over years. I thank God for everything He still enables me to do and for everyone who He allows to purchase my art! And as you might know things are not easy in this art domain, some days are better, some harder 😊.

how do you store your completed pieces until they sell? I have a box with the pieces I'm selling on Esty but I'm worried they will become dusty or even bend a bit over time. I'm curious how you store yours. Thanks and I do love watching every one of your videos. Even watching you package things makes me think about things I should do differently with my packaging.
I usually keep my finished pieces in a closet and in a bigger box. At my beginnings with paper quilling, I had problems with the glue I used, some of my pieces would develop certain problems from the glue. But I've found better glues over the years (through trying them out) and I no longer have those problems. I don't have problems with the dust since I keep my artworks in storage. But even if there is ever a tiny bit of dust, I just use a dry brush to dust off the tiny particles of dust.
@@MiriamsQuilling I think I just need a bigger box than what I am using. Obviously as you go along, you get more and more items to put away lol. I like the idea of a dry brush to get the dust off. I have seen you do that in your packaging video. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your advice with me!
