Here’s how to cancel any order without a ding to you or the buyer. 1. Message the buyer explaining why you can’t ship the item and tell them you will send them a full refund and still ship them a small gift as an apology and tracking will be for that gift. 2. Ship them a $5 Starbucks gift card through eBay. eBay will think you shipped the item and no cancellation is needed. 3. Go to the order and send the buyer a full refund. You’ll end up about $8 out of pocket (gift card and shipping) but no one gets a ding and eBay is none the wiser.

Recently, I’ve had multiple times where ups 2 day on pirateship was cheaper than ups ground OR usps ground. And that’s on items that don’t have any abnormal sizing.

Canadian Shipping is actually cheaper to ship usps - tracked shipping to the US then across Canada. I ship a lot of collector cards and tracked shipping under 1/2lb is around 5.75 USD. We can get prepaid boxes that ship up to 5lbs for about 13 USD. Once your box gets above 12"x12"x12", your looking at around 25 USD. UPS can be cheaper if it's regional.

I always have wondered how you can offer flat rate shipping when shipping costs are constantly going up. At some point if you don’t increase what you are charging you are losing money.
I have all my shipping policies set to block buyers outside of the US. It's all the way at the bottom of the form when you're setting up each shipping policy😊

Hey Dave you should go solar, they could probably be able to cut your bill in half. Some advice would be to go with a company with sunpower in the title or a company that sells Sunpower panels. Companies that sell those panels are usually trust worthy. Also you should never have to put money down for panels. That would be a good way to save money bro.
@@johnnyshags2 I would go with solar first, and with his saved money then look into his home insulation before windows. If his insulation is bad windows won’t to much in savings. A well insulated house goes a long way.
actually raises to your shipping helps me in canada - I can now send things to anywhere in the mainland US for less than 10-11 bucks Canadian and if its under 200 grams (7 ounces) its around 8 bucks thanks to deals with UPS And Canada post - so i can actually compete to you on price - now you guys shipping to Canada is a whole different ball game - but most of that is Canadian Customs - so I don't often buy from you
