Hi Katherine, thank you so much for this lovely review 🥰 We had a meet and greet in the Wheelhouse, that worked perfectly as the bar wasn’t open and the venue a little quieter then good spirits, though GS bar is a super option if only a few going. Xx
We were on this cruise and had a fantastic holiday. The ship was great and enjoyed not having to walk far to get to places. The weather really made it a 10/10. We were also surprised on how fast the wifi was as on enchanted last year it was non-existent.
Just booked our Island Princess cruise for June 2024! Thank you so much for telling us where to get specialty coffee drinks……I was having a nervous breakdown when I saw there was no International Cafe!!!!
I love international cafe, but it really didn’t bother us not having one. We live this ship, yes she’s older, but she has a great vibe and we’d definitely sail on her again 👍🏼
Thank you for your lovely comment, Island is lovely, plus on the carpet in the cabin hallways, there’s red or green dots so you know which side of the ship you’re on 👍🏼 have a great cruise xx

Just came back from the Island Princess. I like older/smaller cruise ships, but this one was just furnished "wrong". The massive staircase in the Atrium, must be removed to not only make room for more guests, who will be having a drink at happy hour, but be able to see musicians by ALL! (As it is, musicians nor sitting guests can see each other!) This video (as most others) avoid showing the humongous marble stairway, because it's sooooo out of proportion.
I think the thing is that you’re comparing a new ship with an old one. The Beyond decor is very different to say the Constellation which is a ship of a similar age. The new cabins on the newest Princess ships are also lovely- take a look at some of our other videos - even p$o Arvia or Iona… TBH nothing really beats Celebrity for me but I just really dislike the Virtual Balconies 😂
By far this is a well done presentation and tour of the Island Princess. We just booked a 14 day Circle Southern Caribbean for the Holidays. Thank You.

Thank you for such a relaxed look at the Island Princess! I'm looking at a 2 week cruise of the Eastern and Southern Caribbean islands over Christmas and New Year and this looks to be a comfortable ship for the less active members of society (I am one). It just might fill the bill! It doesn't look as hectic as Carnival ships get to be with all their huge activities.

@@cruiseaddicted5219 can you tell me if the coffee was free when you had one in the afternoon in the place that was a bar at night. We didn’t purchase the drink package and was wondering if they had a coffee place that you didn’t have to go to the buffet.
Yes, the voice to text does no spell buffet the right way. For some reason it always spells it Buffay. Try it yourself. No worries no one else really cares. I’m glad it makes you feel better to correct people.@@David-ll9qx

The room looks like a cheap hotel room, premier inn style 🫣
Definitely older style cruise decor but 💯 better than a Premier Inn!! Larger with more space than on many newer cruise ships… give it a go!!

Thank you for your comments, the indoor pool is not hot heated, it’s just like a standard indoor pool temp, but the jacuzzis are hot 👍🏼
