Honestly the speed in which I went from total concern to absolutely obsessed with these two doing interviews is hilarious to me. I'm quite a fresh fan and actually got into TLSP first (and only after that started delving deeper into the Monkeys) - so watching interviews and seeing the way Alex [!] and Miles talk/act was quite the shock. Needless to say I'm over that part now and finding myself on this side of youtube (lovely, hilarious compilation!)
yeah, i fell in love with them since i heard Mad Habbits on the radio, back in 2016 and when i watched the video of that song i just knew there's everything special about them... i've been like a teenager and followed them thorough Europe to some concerts... it was so amazing! i knew the Monkeys, but i had never really heard their music untill then.. and ever since, it's all i listen, well, about 80%... :) went to a concert the other day and i am still d«filled with their energy. 2 more years wishing them inspiration for another astonishing album!!

Like - amazing for you that you got to do that! A dream!) Agree 100% about those 2 years - Fingers crossed very hard that they keep up the tradition and 2024 is TSLP3 year. I actually just purchased my ticket for my very first AM concert - about an hour ago [so around the time you commented!] and I'm still very much riding that high! I'll have to wait til the summer but I'm so happy and excited right now. AH, the things music does for us, huh? 💛
@@lllSusan1224lll you kinda fell like i did considering the other 8 years prior to 2016... i felt that i lost those 8 years... and i even remember that at one point, back in 2912, in a chat room someone commented about Alex being a sexy, wonderful star and i was totally out of the deal... when it finally cliked, i laughed so hard ahhaha!!! so THAT is wht they were talking!! my mother is 79 yo and she is starting to show demential issues... yesterday whaile i was driving her, i insisted that she sang Mardy Bum and A Certain Romance... and she did! it was so funny... i tolde her: see, it not only at church that you hear great melodies... she got mad a little, but she knows i'm right... it's getting under her skin and i still have to deal with her so it's better to be with this music... you most certainly will enjoy the concert... being at the same space withe them, feeling the sound vibrations on our bodies from Matt and his drum... i can tell you: it gives us life years!! :) sorry for the long comment and i am not english native. wish you well!
