Early mornings are usually chaotic because everyone is on the road going to work but I’ve been to Lagos severally so I understand your comparison. For me it’s just different cities with different vibes😁
Were in Abuja will you see traffic, the only thing you can see in Abuja is just hold up on traffic light, highest after 1 or 2 minutes the movement will be flowing again

Yes, the traffic in Abuja city is mild. There's traffic mostly in the routes leading to populated places like Mararaba, Nyanya, etc.
Maraba and Nyanya is even more decent than Lekki. In all, Abuja is a vibe!
