Awesome. The muted piano at the beginning sounds like a totally different instrument. Very cool.
And your clarinet playing is exquisite.
The music itself is very atmospheric and nostalgic. Perfect choice.

Thank you! Yes, it was Clement's idea to imitate the more traditional cimbalom sound in Romanian folk music.

Whoa! I sat down to run through some ABBA tunes on bass that I am having to learn for a gig, this was a suggested video (bc I am a subscriber) so I listened through my studio rig and it sounds really really good. Lucy, those diatonic runs across a couple octaves to hit a note are sick. Do you mostly like to play old timey jazz and Balkan type stuff? I am sure you are already aware of this, but those scales always make me think of John Zorn's Masada, they have a couple tunes which have very fun heads to play, check out "Tekufah" and "Mashav". This was really cool, ima check out Lavinius Nikolajevic.

Thank you! That's interesting you say that about the diatonic runs, i'm still working on them! I play a more contemporary jazz/free improv etc as well :) And general modal improvisation as well. I will have to listen to your suggestions, thank you!
