AGAIN…just STUNNING how many superstar type talents get zero play in the art book world. Maybe it’s the over infatuation with the impressionist and subsequent modern art movements that cause this…but it’s still baffling. The titanic talent of the people you’re representing in your videos is astonishing. These people would be lost to time if not what you and a few others have decided to take on… exposing their work to a world wide audience. Well done!!! I can’t thank you enough for your work.
Beautifully presented and it’s interesting to know the background in which the artist developed. Exquisite is the exact word to describe Marr’s landscapes, captured the essence and feeling of the moment perfectly. Thank you.
I barely started watching the video and was stopped by the intro photo with the date “1860” and a background noise of a city with car horns honking. In 1860, there were no cars. Okay, back to the video….
You folks are doing a great service for those starved to see great art rarely shown. Thank you.

Of course, this is by design. Beauty and especially beautiful art (in any form) represents a threat to the "new" world order.
As much as I love those epic history paintings, it’s the simple sketches from life that really move me. Thanks for all these videos.
The Flagellants is actually at the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend
