I don’t know that I love mixed chicks either... so far I like as I am but we just started using it a few weeks ago. I really like the curls brand for mixed hair.
How often do you wash her hair?? Am asking because all the products you put on her hair .!! My baby has the same type of hair but is kind of dry am having problems figuring out 😫
I wash her hair once a week but usually I just cowash, I only use shampoo maybe once a month. Her hair doesn’t get super dry but my other daughter and my son’s hair both get super dry so I always make sure to deep condition weekly (and rinse with cool water) and I will use heavier products like shea butter on their hair. It looks white when I put it on but then the hair soaks it right up. Also I really think the satin bonnet helps as well as just being consistent. I JUST tried this bamboo protein treatment from Curls brand that I think I love but I don’t know enough about it yet to really recommend. I hope that helps. It is definitely a challenge to figure out what works for each hair type.
