Hey! Thank you for this explaination! I am currently writing a thesis about Palestine and the continous Israeli opression and I'm wondering if there are any more philosophical texts you would recommend me looking into?
just to add smth, I was reading about Isnotreal's vertical occupation - the air is consumed with drones of precision killing, the land is full of occupation pockets, riddled with bombs and caterpillars. the underground, which was considered the last safe space for Palestinians, used by regular civilians for years, was also bombed under the ruse of eliminating resistance fighters. the use of tunnels made me think of how both sides are using architecture differently, ordinary citizens used those tunnels because imagine living with war hovering over your head for decades. the very air they breathed was made toxic - affecting the vitality of generations to come. precision killing was perfected by genocidal maniacs almost a century ago and every Palestinian has lived with it ever since.
Fascinating topic! Looking forward to something on the Hamas tunnel network. Is that an arborescent structure vs the rhizomatic one implemented by the superior IDF?
I'm not familiar with the theorist that you mentioned twice or so (sounded like 'de ball' or 'duval?') I think it would be super helpful if you could put a few names of people mentioned (and maybe a relevant work too, if that's not too much work) Great video otherwise, interesting subject
I actually think he's talking about the French thinker Guy Debord, it's just that with the attempted French accent the d is silent and the r slurs into a slight L.
Cool subject! I make yt videos and I discovered you while searching the field. 1st reaction (if I may), the topic is very timely but you don't sell it as such. Your thumbnail at least should show it. I've seen a few things a bit like that in Hebron and it's such a fascinating/creepy topic.
These tactics date back to at least the Mexican-American War. I imagine it must be heartbreaking to be one of these philosophers and see your work being used to brutalize people.

So, they used pickaxes to break holes into the walls and doors to root them out one by one. The modern tactic is called mouse holing.

Not related to Israel specifically, but read “Unrestricted Warfare” by China PLA press.
Mein Kampf - written by a famous Austrian painter.
I'd reccomend "The Right to Maim"
This is really interesting. Its scary to think how warfare is so obfuscated now. Makes you desensitized and everything seem untrustworthy.
This is great! This video & the Homo Sacer video got me thinking a lot. Please do Necropolitics sometime soon, I'd love to hear your take on it.
it's a shame General Kokhavi didn't take as much to heart Deleuze's writings on Palestine.
I love your content!!! ❤️❤️❤️

it looks like same tactics used in mosul

Hmm lemme see what I can do!

Can you elaborate or provide an example?

I support Israel, I don't see how this theory you've derived cannot be applied to the urban gorilla warfare tactics used by Hamas..
Israel is a fascist regime conducting genocide. Hamas doesn't slaughter civilians for fun
Also destruction of crops for fun. Or torture or rape people for fun.
@@qabbala1015 Hamas doesnt do that because of the iron dome. Lest you didnt notice that they fired like 2 thousands rockets into Israeli citys
@@qabbala1015 you're right! They slaughter civilians cuz theyre antisemitic. Mwah!
@@drunkslav7280 They fired 2 thousand rockets back* at Israel
